You can call me TC Posted Oct 24, 2002
I tried to get a choir together at the July London meet. We were raring to go (even had one of each voice) But then njan couldn't make it and there were only three of us. We had music ready and songs and an e-mail group and then it all fizzled out.
I'll happily lend you my idea, if you like.
Gnomon and Njan were going to play a clarinet duet.

HI, I was gonna join youth choir, only i cant stand Gillian Dibdon, and I definantly cant stand her irritatingly pompous pet son.

I hate to go against you, but Gillian is the best conductor you are ever likely to work under. I have only met one other person who comes close. And as for Mark, okay, sometimes it *is* difficult to work out quite what pitch he's singing, but he is also a respected conductor. They both have their little quirks, but you can't get much better.
Anyway, rant over, how are you?

I'm cool... Actually bothered to do something with my personal space. I have about 5 different identities, and I've just started to be interested in this one coz I've started a cathedral to terry pratchett. not terribly popular, yet but hey.

Who is this Mark person you're talking about?
Is he an H2G2 researcher?
What voice part were you lacking last time around?

BGC got through but BYC didn't. I want to see who beat us. And they'd better be stunning. And go on through to win overall. There was only one choir that came close to us last time, and that was Chorus Amici. Not that I'm competative, or anything... ... more just fiercely proud.
