flakey-lady.... you lookin' at me punk?

hello there,

thanks for your help...i see you are an arty person..me too. when i get the time.. i was doing a ba in art and aesthetics in 1995 but left to have daughter.. i didn't like the course much as the philosophy part of it was a bit over my head...i'm a very down to earth person.. it just wasn't for me.

i intended to go back into education but alas didn't.. instead for last 7 yrs i've worked in a photo lab which satisfys a small part of my artistic nature....

i loved my foundation course though..what fun i had...
good luck with your degree..its much more specialised than the one i was doing...
would prince charles approve of your designs?smiley - biggrin

Prince Charles? No idea! It's safe to mention photography around me again, that course is over for the Semestersmiley - winkeye

And it's never too late, we have retired architects and other retirees coming to lectures!

prince charles is very outspoken about modern architecture...has called some of it very derogatory terms....thats the royal family for you..they hate to move on except their behaviour bears no resemblance to old fashioned values...hypocrites they are.

funnily enough i hated the photography module too.. got my lowest mark for it 64% and here i am working in a photolab...ironic really.

its nothing like the college darkrooms though.. the machine does most of the readings itself, automatic...we just feed the machine with negs etc. very repetative work but we do have to check the prints for quality so you can imagine the sights i have seensmiley - blush

I still don't understand those of my peers who consider vomiting an art form...

And the porn people should just get a digital camera and a printer!

jeans and t shirt is always fine with me.... even at our wedding my husband wore jeans... [white shirt leather waistcoat and bootssmiley - biggrin]
i didn't want any of the suits and big dresses thing...his family didn't really approve that i allowed that...but then my hubby was never a suit type of guy.......his best man dressed the same, but they were bikers back thensmiley - smiley

ohh in a field of daffodils...my hubbys favourite flower, and very associated with wales is the daffodill. i like bluebells myself could see myself married in a bluebell glade in a wood.

i did the church wedding 1st time round...it was horrible.. my 2nd wedding was much better... better groom for a start..for the dress code...there WAS no dress code, and the night do was held in the meeting room of the taff riders bike club..we had a mad dj who played rock music most of the nightsmiley - biggrin

mind you don't know if i could stand full blast rock music now...getting too old..

I don't like loud music that much, unless I'm the sourcesmiley - winkeye But i do appreciate rock, much better than the cursing to the beat that seems to be the essence of modern "music"

probably the best really as relationships only confuse things...
my middle daughter has just graduated in drama and media studies halfway thru she found relationships were interfering with her work.. trouble is she always got so involved..and then ultimately hurt.

i have no problem with a son loving and respecting his mother.. thats fine but when they allow mother to rule their relationships..ooohh no nasty...lucky escape for you there.smiley - run
