Room 013
Afgncaap5 Posted Jun 11, 2001
*Vomar waves at Julayla and Dagmar*
I've still got no clue if I should just let it end, but I'm sure it'll all turn out well.
Meanwhile, Peet, actually going through the physical programming of these things require a great deal of experience. I think that the only non-Althians who were ever able to really work out how to do it in under ten minutes are myself and Elizabeth the Evil Babysitter. And I still need this thing.
*Affy shows an electronic ring to Peet*
This is my interface for Althian technology. I can still use it without this thing, but it's really not very easy.

Big Bad Werewolf Posted Jun 11, 2001
*Detective Fulovit comes jogging back and gets in his Citroen.*
I forgot that this was a high budget job.
*The Citroen starts with a bang and chugs off down the road trailing a large cloud of blue smoke.*

Afgncaap5 Posted Jun 12, 2001
*Affy looks around, whistling to himself*
Ampton, go back to the Crater, and make sure that Red was safely sent to his cell, and that he's still inside his Crib. We can't be too careful with him. Then, get two standard teleportation gates, tune them to each other, and leave one in the CLI Hangar, activated. Get the other one here.
Meanwhile, I'm going to look through those books. I thought I saw the memoirs of Dr. Frankenstein in there, and want to look those over. He really was a genius, he just expected too much from his creations.

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Jun 12, 2001
*As the gnarly melodrama plays out in the roadway outside the window, Lil has walked thoughtfully down to the library where she sits at a table, looking through a thick, ancient, dusty folio on FoxPro for DOS*
Room 013
Afgncaap5 Posted Jun 12, 2001
*Affy happens to walk past a hall closet and opens it. Several versions of the game "Clue" are stacked in their*
I'm almost afraid to see what my choices of movies are in this place.
Room 013
Garius Lupus Posted Jun 12, 2001
*GL comes around the corner of the hall and almost bumps into Affy.*
Oops, sorry. I was just looking for you, actually. I was just in room 009, you know, the one with all the monitors. One of the monitors seems to be hooked up to a computer in the basement and it has all sorts of games on it. And you'll never guess ... it has all of the Infocom games!
Room 013
Afgncaap5 Posted Jun 13, 2001
*Five minutes later, Affy wakes up*
All of them? Even Starcross in the original Saucer-shaped packaging? Even the nefarious Infocomics? Even the infamous Cornerstone software? Even the elusive Tombs & Treasure (the only Infocom game ever made for Nintendo)?
COME ON!
*Affy darts towards the basement*
Room 013
Garius Lupus Posted Jun 14, 2001
*GL scoots back onto room 009 and sits at the games terminal*
Room 013
Afgncaap5 Posted Jun 14, 2001
*Affy shows up, and looks at the terminal*
Well? Why isn't Bueaucracy up and running already?
Room 013
Garius Lupus Posted Jun 15, 2001
Well, I haven't played Trinity yet, and I wanted to try it. Supposed to be the best Infocom game of them all and one of the best games of all time.
Room 013
Afgncaap5 Posted Jun 15, 2001
Well, okay. I guess that if you haven't played Trinity yet, it's worth going through again. A pretty good game once you actually figure out how to time things.
*Affy watches the game load up in Kensington Gardens*

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Oct 3, 2001
Hearing a throaty motor outside, followed by footsteps and a voice, Lil arises from her Foxpro-induced coma, and walks down the hall to see what's going on*

Oh, hi guys. I'll be with you in a minute - just have to save my game.
