Last day of NaJoPoMo. If.

There was a lovely party for the end of NaJoPoMo. I took part briefly.
I thought to post in my last journal to use someone else's words that I was reminded of this month and admire so much. I posted a link here somewhere already somewhere.
If I could write a sentence to this standard I would be a very happy woman.

From the film 'If'. The screen play is by David Sherwin. It was directed by Lindsay Anderson..and stars Malcolm McDowell, who speaks these words in that clip. The film won the Palme d'Or at 1969 Cannes film festival.

I'm leaving this site for tonight.
That Caddis thing...
Too many complicated and very upset...and pushing it away...getting nasty..but that's not really me.
I'll be in trouble here if I hang around.
(At least I'm learning now how to keep things calm here).

Since that thread 'What's wrong with h2g2' on ASK...and the few posts I could bring myself to even vaguely skim read on that thread..to do with me being what's wrong with it..my whole feeling and attitude to this place has changed.
I only really feel safe now on my space..and posting on anhaga's space.
It feels empty here and cold.

The Killing. Hooray.

Just started watching the second series of the Danish 'Killing'. Excellent.
And very quickly I'm able to get used to the subtitles...which often I find difficult as I got older and my concentration was shot.
I love the sound of Danish again and the acting..it is just so atmospheric like the first series. And the lovely Sarah Lund back..wearing a different jumper now.
All that low key intensity...and convolution.
The last series was around 20 one hour episodes to solve the case.
This case hopefully will be just as long.
(And I'll never watch any US rip-off of it).
