Order of News stories on BBC5live - disgust.

The national radio station in the UK BBC5Live is described as being about News and Sport.
I listen to it a fair bit...and it is very popular. The News headlines are broadcast every half hour..and there are frequent updates in between times.
But just now on 8pm News...getting on for around 10 hours since the suicide of the Welsh national team manager was first announced..it is still the first item on the news.
Second is the death of the latest British soldier to be killed in Afghanistan.
I think that stinks.

In the eye of a storm

Slept in my new tent in garden last night.
Was very windy and the noise of the wind blowing around outside was ace.
The tent is as stable as hell. It didn't move an inch..so it was like sleeping in the eye of the storm.
It was fun.

Just going into living room to put the CD of the play on the stereo.
Plan is to listen...not worry about reading the text at the same time. I want the full pleasure. Lokking at text can come later.
Just tore cellophane wrapper off CD...Looked at credits..who the voices are etc..It might be an American thing? as it's made by LA Theatre Works..all kinds of foundations etc are funding it...also it is a AudioFile Earphones Award winner. I've not heard of that here.
It's going to be brilliant.
I read the blurb on the back,
'...Both dazzingly clever and emotionally naked, Henry's search for the 'real thing' in art and love demonstrates beautifully why both are worth the effort in the end.'

I want everyone on h2g2 to know that appears that person has set about an organised attempt to bully me off this site.
She is well aware I'm confined to Journals today and can't post on general threads to defend myself.
She attacks me at every opportunity to the rest of h2g2.
Her friend repeatedly posts stuff to me and today to anhaga all about *me*.
It is making me ill.
Particularly today as I am unable to defend myself. That particularly disgusts me. I wouldn't behave in that way to anyone on this site.
And still she won't say why after 5 years of treating me one way..she suddenly says everything the opposite about me.
It seems like she wants nothing less than all out war now.
Okay.

That Della War period...my memories

I haven't taken part in that History project. I don't even know where it is or care.
I just remember how completely and utterly horrible it was for a person new to using the internet as a way of connecting to others via conversation online, to get involved with stuff like that.
I hope any new person coming here wouldn't have to experience that.
How I remember it. (NB remember...not fact..how it is in my mind).
It was a massive thing for me to get involved with an online community. Scary and exciting.
I got quite involved with the Thingite threads.
In real life that whole bullying thing with my partner's child was starting. That's a whole nightmare I'll leave out...but that was the background. I looked to the internet to escape that misery.
Thingite stuff was superficial and fun...then suddenly..it was like all hell let loose.
People talked about 'thread bombs' and actually made guide entries about them. If you posted the wrong thing..suddenly someone would shout, 'thread bomb' and post a link.
And of course people...a whole group..I remember some names. SoRB..I think it was the changeover from Hoo..I knew both names, Az, blicky, Alfster,...well it was one long stream of invective thrown at anyone who questioned what was being done to Della.
And I kept going back because it deemed so horribly wrong. Plus I had a horrible fascination for it..because of real life..and I could hardly believe what was going on.
This internet world, community...like some monster of viciousness and hate like I'd never even seen in real life....(except of course it would come out later what was being done to my partner's daughter at the hands of those bornagain kids..)
And Della was drawn into that whole thing to always play games and respond to keep the whole ghastly infernal turning. And what a hard on for hate SoRB had..
Truly hideous.
