I'm managing to cope here now better by cutting down my taking part in ASK threads to an absolute minimum.

I try to avoid visiting because when I do there is stuff there that totally riles me.

Still at least that very nasty, 'What's wrong with h2g2' thread, (to which the answer for a few seemed to be, *me*), has now fizzled.

And when I try to inject coming at things from a different angle...it doesn't happen. Jamming doesn't work here. Also culturally anhaga has made me much more aware how British centric it is. And often people from other countries are sometimes more 'British' than me I realised.

I really really thought it would have been a good thing if the CBC had taken this place over from the BBC. But, it was not to be.
