Yes I reckon we could dance great...
And, (to be serious for a moment), I want you to know that despite apparent appearances I really don't have a problem *at all* with religious people per se, it's the fanatical bornagain types I can't handle, for all sorts of reasons. You are lovely. I feel perfectly at home with how you are as a person. We may have theoretical disagreements about faith, but they mean not a jot to me. I completely respect how you are as a person and your faith. I felt I should make that abundantly clear in case you had got the wrong impression from TGD thread. I feel completely safe and at home with you as a person. For goodness sakes I grew up with fair minded loving Christians.
Unfortunately on h2g2 it's the more extremist types that often get attracted to threads like TGD thread, and I get all angry and sarcastic in reponse to *them*. The way they express religion literally makes me feel ill. That's no exageration.
If you want to contact me via email feel free. Or not. But I'll give you my address in case you want to now, or ever in the future. (And yes it's a bit of a weird address I know, it's to do with a performance art group I was in)
[email protected]
Please feel comfortable to contact me or not. This thread will always be here for us to chat. No pressure.

Sending an email with my painting photos.
I've always felt comfortable with folks of different faiths, including an absence of traditional faith. As long as one has some sort of moral compass, and most of the people I know do, I've got no problem with who one prays to or doesn't pray to. And hootoo can indeed attract extremes. Can't blame you too much for going off on some of them.

Got your email....but my mac can't/won't download the images .exe
Just make sure you keep me informed of where you upload them on the net, and I'll check them out there in the future.
But at least now we can chat sometimes via email.
Now get some sleep woman.... And be a bit careful of getting to drawn into all that religious stuff on h2g2. You need your sleep.

Yes, I did, and I do!
Thanks for the lovely compliments on the other thread! And I'm glad you were able to see my artwork.
I'm actually headed back for a little nap before my friend comes over. We are going to watch the movie "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day".

I love the fact that you are an Obama supporter now. I wish you could vote! I'm very much excited about the campaign, and very hopeful too. But some people I know, including some family and a couple friends, are really really stressing out and scared about this campaign. I'll be glad when things settle down and my country can move forward again.

Yes I'm going round on Nov 5th to a good friend of mine, who is also bipolar. We're going to an organised firework display and then back for a bonfire and baked poatoes.
It's quite funny, she's a lot younger than me, but when we get together.....you'd never know it; we're *so* alike.
And trust me....Obama *will* win. The whole world is willing him to win I reckon.

That sounds like me and my oldest sister -- there's a big age gap, but we get along great.
Did you see the Obama interview on the Daily Show? It was funny! And good.

Crikey I just looked up the actual date of your election and it's on the 4th. So I'll really be able to celebrate on the 5th.....
See you here on election night, or the next day...
