Greetings Researchers,
I first read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy as a freshman in High School. I stumbled upon it while in the library, and it became an instant favourite.
The paperback version I read had a one-eyed smiley on the cover. Since then I have purchased a copy, but was disappointed to find the cover graphic had changed. This detail is personal because I got a homemade tattoo of the one-eyed smiley from a friend that I went to school with at the time. I would like to know if anyone has seen this cover design, it would be vintage late eightie's or earlier.
