Yes, I was getting really fidgetty about money - still am, but at least I have money coming in as well as going out. Also the FPL stuff is - well - resolving itself, I guess. Denial is not just a river in Africa, is it?
I am working out what to say in the entry. There are a lot of threads to pull stuff from, and it'll take at least a couple of days to pull it all together. Also I want to wait at least until the threads are calmer. I want to quote stuff ~jwf~ emailed the UnderGuide about, and hopefully he'll be cool about that.
Now - should I attribute quotes or just co-credit researchers?

Denial, but it's such a nice river, it's got pyramids, camels, and even the odd murder.
You are noticably less figity really, and money going in is always better than money going out.
I think you should do both, attribute quotes, because people like seeing there name in places, and quote them.

Tell me about it! On the other hand, it does mean that I behave like a real person at least some of the time.
Take care, and talk tonight?

Sure!
I've got a Health and Safety for student societies meeting at the Guild of Students from 5-8 (we get fined £15 if no one goes) but give me a ring after 8?

Good luck finding the slides. I'm still trying to get hold of the new graduate manager.. I may occupy myself with cleaning the flat.
Ooh A and his little sister who we shall call a, (aged 18) will be staying at our flat tonight, but they'll be off to look at a Conventry Uni open day in the morning.

OOh cute!
By the way, the car is fab, it feels hugely safer, and it was the fact that it felt unsafe that was troubling me. It would have been a bargain at £500, but is still ok at £880. There are a couple of things I need to phone them about, but I am much happier with it now.

She's fab, rather like A in a lot of ways.
I'm glad the car is safer does £880 cover all of it? I'm sure you said on the Saloon there was more to come?

There's about another £600 in total, of which £200 is the wing mirror, and another £100 is stuff like the rear washer which really aren't worth doing. That leaves about £300 of essentials which I'll probably do late April or early May.
I have to say that I was impressed by what they were picking up - things like the silvering on the back parabolic reflectors behind the headlights being crap, which explains why dipped beam is so dim, and I hadn't even mentioned that to them.
If I'd had checks like that run on it every time I'd had it serviced in the last two years, these bills wouldn't all be coming in at once, and at least I have cash now, which I didn't always then.

That's good!
Still at least you've found a decent garage now that will pick the things up.
Could any of it be done yourself with a Haynes Manual or is it all garagey stuff?

Just spoken to a nice lady about extending my overdraft, she'll get back to me before three, so now I've got two thing to be on edge about.
I've never been refused credit in the past.. but I'm still scared.
