But if you decided to become a teacher, would you regret it in the morning?
You can presumably still do this sort of work when you are a grownup?

In the morning = when I realise I can't change a sink school singlehandedly like they do on the films?
I can't really, not with kids, the whole point if it is that we're nearer the kids ages than the teachers, and given that I'm ten years older than the kids already I'm pushing it. I suppose I can do other volentry work with kids though.

Er that sounds rather dull doesn't it!
I think I'll just occupy myself with medical students..

Just been digging around in the Green Paper. We are good, measured against it, but are we seen to be as good as we are?
*sigh*
I am thinking of writing an entry on all of this soon. Doubt that I will, but I can feel it rumbling around the back of my brain.

I'm feel reassured, certainly reassured enough to write more for the EG.
*listens to sound of entry rumbeling*

Make a post in the Forum Thread - I want that one to feed into the 'what is our space in Internet-Land' and vice versa.
But I do feel cheered. I think it is possible to present a case that h2g2 hits a lot of the governments aims on the button. The next question is who should the case be presented to, and when?

Ooh did you get any useful feedback from the Ex about what we were discussing yesterday?
*sneaks in via a back door*
Mrs Zen Posted Mar 2, 2005
Ish... I always forget how much I dislike the way in which he gives advice! He was a bit tired, to be honest, and just came out with random stuff. We'll see if he comes up with anything else.
Did you stretch after exercising?

Z Posted Mar 2, 2005
That's not surprising given the circumstances really is it?
No I didn't stretch* I've a feeling that's the problem, because this is really starting to annoy me..
* I never knew that stretch had two t's in, not until I actually looked at how you'd spelt it.

Well, what *do* they teach you in Medical School? *gasp*
The debate threads are going really well, aren't they? I wonder if I was wise to spread them across several threads and forums, or if it would have been better all in one place?
I am thinking of writing a piece which is part manifesto, part call to arms, and part a summary of the state of the nation. Now... what to do with it? I wonder if Shazz'd like it?

Er they taught us that, I just have never done it before, and have never had any side effects, obviously all I've done before it a far lower intensity that what I did on Monday, but still.
I think spreading it out over several threads is a good idea because it means more people are involved.
I think Shazz would be really interested it in! Excellent idea!
