Well yes, everyone should be a sleep deprived Zombie
Did your drive up go ok? I didn't get Rainbow's phone number so I'll have to ask you to text it to me again...

Mrs Zen Posted Feb 22, 2005
Drive was fine but haven't texted numbers yet.
Felt really rested when I set off, but it was a tricky journey, and I am feeling sleep-deprived again. I am going to go to bed at 9.00pm every night this week just to make sure I actually do get enough sleep. Unlike you I don't thrive on sleep deprivation!

I'm not sure I do, I've just had a two hour nap ... I'm aware I'm not seriously panicking this time around, I'm revising when I know I need to, but I'm not loosing sleep over it.

Now I am getting nervous that you aren't sufficiently nervous! I'm not used to a cool, calm, collected Z. Whatever happened to pre-exam nerves?
I'm pootling though a backlog of emails and other itty bitty items at the moment, but at heart I'm bored. It is all rather dull here at work at the moment. Fingers crossed it'll get a bit more focussed.
I think one of my sinuses is blocking up though.

Er boredom is a good emotion? Do we expect radical changes some time soon?
I think the thing is that it's a fairly discrete area and I know I've covered most of the basics with more time that I usually have to spare, so I can do fun stuff like MCQs with re-reading bits.
Also it's my fourth final I hope I know by now the standard we have to reach and how much work I have to do to reach said standard.

That sounds great
Do you want to spend the whole weekend at mine? Or do you need some Ben-time?
PS I've got a 'package'
*sneaks in via a back door*
Mrs Zen Posted Feb 22, 2005
Dunnno, really. Can we make our minds up about that nearer the time?
A 'package', eh?
In 'quotes'?
My....!

Z Posted Feb 22, 2005
Indeed.
Sure,
Just if you want to have a whole day to yourself I'll go gliding and need to organise that earlier.. otherwise nearer the time is fine.

I thought we were spending the whole weekend *ahem*? I don't mind, (truly!) but the noise that sounds like icebergs crashing in distant fjords is actually my brain changing gear.

Z Posted Feb 22, 2005
So did I.. I was just checking you wanted to spend the whole weekend together.
*sneaks in via a back door*
Z Posted Feb 22, 2005
Still wanted to spend the weekend together that is.
I've been looking forward to it.
*sneaks in via a back door*
Mrs Zen Posted Feb 22, 2005
Yeah. I was listening at the time. *snigger*
I can't see any reason not to spend the whole w/e together, and that was what I had scheduled anyway. There are some practical cheque-cashing issues we need to discuss, but that's

Ooh A will be around on Sunday evening, and Monday, so it looks like we'll get a nice mix of time to ourselves (Fri, Sat and 1/2 sun) and with A..
Sorry about the minor money panic I had in the salon it's not a big deal, I'm just annoyed with myself..

Been and for the last two days.
Feeling a bit better now, though, but going to get an early night, and get as much as possible.

Well, I didn't get much sleep, and am feeling rather battered and bruised, having fallen into a slow-burn row with someone offline. Hey ho.
I'm not sure when I'll be leaving, but I want to get away early. Are we spending tonight at yours or mine, bearing in mind that it makes sense for me to spend Sunday at yours.

* Gently*
How are you this morning pet?
It's snowing like a pillow burst here, but it isn't settling.
*sneaks in via a back door*
Mrs Zen Posted Feb 25, 2005
I'm ok. I'll tell you a bit more later on. I am very very tired, partly because I only got about 3 hours sleep this morning.
Don't worry about it, there is nothing wrong with me that won't be cured in the short term by a good weekend, and that won't be cured in the long term simply by doing the things I have already decided to do like get a job and move and stuff.
I'd just rather not be at work today, to be honest. I need sleep!
