Good, had a morning of lecturers which seems to have lead to information overload.
Off home now to revise revise revise...

I am clock-watching, but to be honest I think I'll sneak off early, get my lazy backside properly on-line, and then have a nice early kip.
What's a good time to call you?

Ooh anytime that's good for you, I'm happily installed with my nose in a book and will remain at this desk, with occasional breaks for the next 10 or so hours..

Looking at accommodation - the Glasgow Travelodge's are booked and are in the region of 49 per night for two. The Premier Lodges are available at about the same price. The Ryanair site gives reasonable accomodation for about 45, (double ensuite), and much cheaper accomodation too.
How much are you willing to spend or would you prefer to blag a floor?
We ought to get the train tickets booked too.

While I am at it, the train times which look the sanest to me are:
08.20 - 13.30 on the Good Friday
and
16.10 - 21.25 on the Easter Monday.
This means that we will be doing most of the journey back in the dark, but it also means we have plenty of time in Skye to get to Armdale to catch the ferry.
If we book now, apex fares are 26.50, and I think we should get them booked. Do you want to book separately (young person's railcard, etc) or do you want me to book them both.

Eeep I've been out with the community midwife all day so not able to stalk to my full potiental as I haven't been near a computer. ..
I'm happy to spend £40 or so on a hotel room, and it might be nice to have a hotel room and more comfortable than a floor.
You can book a train ticket without having the rail card to hand, so when you book, just say one is with a Young Persons railcard.,..
hang on you're offline, I've just sent a text message offering to book them..

I've been working on finding a hotel. Parking in Glasgow is about a tenner a day, so I am looking for a central hotel with parking. Ha blumming ha!
How's your day shaping up? Delivered any good babies yet? (Yesterday sounded fab, btw)

Not too bad! More killing time bettween teaching sessions. In a strange fit of idocity I managed to book the train tickets for the Thursday instead of the Friday, so I rang up to change them and there's a five pound re-booking fee.
No problem. I thought. But I managed to leave my swich card at home so I have to wait til I get home. Hoping the Apex would still be available then. The man on the phone reckons they will be.

I've been getting paranoid about making sure I got the right dates too - some of the hotel sites are brutal about making changes to the booking.
Are the tickets dated? Or just the seats?
