My blissful day of doing nothing is actually turning out to be rather busy. Just need to find some library books, pick up a letter from my GP and go to Walsall, (which is always a less than cheerful) oh and come to the Gym on my way back.
How are you doing pet?

Not bad! I slept in this morning, though so I was late in to work. I am determined to get my energy levels up. I should probably be drinking more water.
Woke up having dreamed that I'd applied to the University of Georgia to do their post-grad course in Internet Communities, but couldn't afford the time off to do the course!
How's A? Did he get his doings done.

Yup, we got everything handed in for the hideously complex application process, needless to say there were a few bits that they hadn't told him a bout and we had to go and print it all out again because it had to be single sided. But the admin staff were really nice. He's exicted, but really scared it's all going to go wrong.
Snowing here..

Well, when I was working at the Uni of Glos the admin staff were really nice, apart from one who was Mrs Stroppy; but she was Mrs Stroppy in RL and she tried hard not to let it spill over too far into her job.
Dunno what the weather is like here.
I've found a Citroen specialist here. I guess I ought to phone them, book the car in and get it on the way to being a Happy Motor.

Well that's good at least. I've discovered I still have £30 in a savings account from when I working, which helps with breathing this month.
A was very nice and lent me some cash, but when I went to put it into the bank the computers were down and I had to use the quick deposit, which involved putting it in an envalope and hoping that someone processes it.
It's my pet branch so I'm going to give them a ring and remind them that if they don't process it my direct debit for rent will bounce.
I'm going to make a countdown chart to the day I start work!

Ooophs.
Self centred that I am.
Good news! About finding a citroen dealer, that is, I hope that the car is soon well on it's way to becoming a happy car again..

I love finding money I had forgotten or didn't know I had!
I ought to finish my lunch-hour and start working again, really.
What are you planning on doing next week?

Don't you mean this week? (That's my week off!)
Going to the gym a lot, reading all the books I haven't had chance to read before. Teaching 60 children how to put a condom on. Getting the computer to understand what a DVD is, getting a new version of Linux from a friend. Coffee with various friends I haven't seen for a while.
Getting exam results on Friday!
It's suddenly awfully busy.

I was just addressing the envalope to request my money back when I realised, 'hang on, this is the building A works in'
Not so clever Z today.
Key: Complain about this post
