John Cleese said the three rules of comedy are:
1) No puns

....which is pretty rich for someone who used to be on 'I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again'!

Classic BBC radio comedy series of the late sixties - early seventies which featured Cleese, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Grahame Garden, Bill Oddie (who became The Goodies), Jo Unwin and David Hatch (who eventually rose to Managing Director BBC Radio). The programme was based almost entirely on excruciatingly corny puns.
Amazingly enough, I've had a look and there doesn't seem to be a guide entry on ISIRTA....
