You dont remember the bit when the computer is thinking about tea while the Vogons are attacking?
Arthur gets the same feeling as when he was younger, and used to score own goals?

Simetra Posted May 31, 2005
what a mind for detail you have, OK well how did Arthur's brother die?
Ford's Prequel
MurrayBostHenson Posted Jun 1, 2005
sorry, I wasn't looking it up, I've been out.
He was nibbled to death by an acarpie- dont mind my spelling
PS the devils in the details. I love that saying, it's what writings all about.

Simetra Posted Jun 1, 2005
Very good, I'm sure we could work that about Arthur's brother into the story some how

I have an idea how to start chapter 4, when we're ready. An off topic sidline kinda thing. You can decide how much time could have passed and what Ford's been doing. If we want to bring him to America he's going to have to stow away on a ship or something.
I'm not saying we should do it now, theres still a little bit of life left in this line But like I said, when we're ready.
PS I'm having a ball writing this!! It's the best creative writing excersize I could have asked for!!
As well as the best co-writer(s)!

Not sure where we stand on this Star Wars plot, we might have George Lucus lawyers after use for infringement of copyright, but then again I suppose Douglas Adam's estaste could do the same

MurrayBostHenson Posted Jun 3, 2005
sorry about the absense, got busy again. I should be able to write today.
The star wars thing is good for a bit, but Fords a smart fellow. he'll figure out whats what. unless he doesnt know what a movie is? nahhhh, Might pick up another companionthough, or bring Mavis back again?
I didnt mean to insult her, exactly, I was going for Fords frustration....I guess one could call it "Method" writing

Hi, just read your journal entry, which part of this crazy planet do you live on, the new series of Hitch-Hikers have been fantastic especially with the original cast, I wonder what phase the Ford Prequel should be named, by the way where the heck did Lieutenant Gilks come from
Ford's Prequel
MurrayBostHenson Posted Jun 8, 2005
The lunitic phase?
I know the new series is good, I think I'm up to date. My gutarist downloaded all the previous new episodes for me. When did it restart? within the year?
And, like I said, I'm in New England (USA), Massachussetts to be exact. Although I suppose that qualifies me as "under a rock" status, yah?
And Glicks? Dunno. A way to harken back to Dirk without actually involving him?
Oh, BTW, I found the passage (several actually) about Fords time on Earth, it's in the first part of So Long..... right before he hijacks the Sirius Cybernetics ship and sets it to the speaking clock....we have a way to go!!! USA, Austrailia, and several other countries I can't think of right now. He made his way around most of the way around the globe.
Maybe we should move things along a bit?

I think it's time to bring chapter 3 to a close and put him on a flight on concorde to New York for year 4 on earth, I have an idea for a link to one of Dirks stories also. So with a leap and a bound.........
Ford's Prequel
MurrayBostHenson Posted Jun 13, 2005
Whats the link you were plotting?
Were you thinking of anyone in specific in this new kidnapping? I din't want to take it in the wrong direction.
I'll post on the morrow, hopefully

to tell you the truth I don't know which way this going, thought maybe you did, lets just go with it, if things don't work then swift exit stage right, I was hoping to get Ford to meet Dustin Hoffman so he could have the conversation that is related in Dirk Gently Holistic Detective LDTofTS

sorry, been busy, have seen your last reply and did not want to rush a response just because I did not have much time, should be a bit quieter next week. This Bill Gates thing is getting complicated
Ford's Prequel
MurrayBostHenson Posted Jul 1, 2005
Thats cool I was just curious, and yah, Bill is a complex individual
I'm kinda dissapointed in, um, everybody else who has dipped their hand in. Noone else has picked the thread up either.....Maybe our minds are too highly trained Majikthise

ye your right, we are just hyper-intelligent beings, strange there is no others on this thread at the moment Daily Lama has had some pretty good contributions and one or two others, it does need some other inputs , thats what creates the bizarre directions it takes.

Hi Murray, just wondering where the "Stavro Muller Alpha'" reference comes from and where your taking it, we have been neglecting the story just lately, I've been busy so not been around much, I think the Bill Gates bit should be put to bed and I'm getting fed up with lizard man. Since I'm in the UK, do not have alot of knowledge of New York so will have to wing it with locations and stuff.
