Today I'm a bit better, thanks, and my exam today was also ok.
It's copper, it gets green because of oxidation and then the green layer acts as protection for the rest of the metal. It's the same as statues. They maybe weren't green originally but they are meant to be green. Copper just gets this colour, they even put some stuff on it sometimes so the protective layer 'grows' faster.

Cool.
So I'm not sure now if I'm vindicated. I argued to Hayley that they are not meant to be green they become green over time, and she said they are designed that way.
It's interesting that they start out a bronzelike colour and change to green, and they are built knowing this will happen. Curious!

Well, I think somehow you're both right. They aren't green at the beginning but they are meant to be.

I think somehow they would look better copper coloured but I never saw any. If any photos come up, please send them to me
How are you anyway?

Hm... I'll trry but I don't think I've ever seen a whole new roof in copper.
I have much work. And I'm still in a bad mood because of the exam I didn't pass. Talking to the prof was bad, too.
How are you?

I'm sorry you have so much to do. Persevere, you will succeed.
I finally understand what those buttons do, previous reply, parent posting, next reply, first reply.

I am screaming at myself because my long lost friend has replied to a post I made on my OLD hootoo space from 2001, but his reply which says how to catch up with him is from way back in 2003! Got to piece this together now.
How are you?

sorry, somehow this post got lost
that's a pity, that you discovered it so late
I'm ok, just sleepy from working. I'm not used to getting up early.

Oh great.
At the moment at 7. Not so bad, I know, but I'm not used to it.
My computer got broken yesterday. It only makes strange noises but nothing else.

Neil the Indefinite Posted Sep 28, 2008
Did you fix your computer??
I'm late replying again, I suppose you expect no better from me now!
Brett and I are conversing on MSN, so if you're still up come find us.

It's fine, I figured we'd be writing again after a while, whatever we missed I'm sure we can catch up.

Yes.
Uni will start again soon. I'm now thinking about which courses exactly I'll take and it looks like one will be arts history.
Today I'm very tired because my parents, granny and I visited 2 castles. It was very interesting but also exhausting.
And we had elections for parliament today. After the two big parties behaved so badly lately the right wing now got far too many votes.

That's terrible! I think every European country has the threat of right wing extremists, it is a worrying thought. As an american once said, the cost of freedom is eternal vigilence, right?
Which castles did you see, I've seen a few, as you know. Austria's good for castles and palaces.
I'm trying to work out what I'm doing for ACCA.
If you're free for a bit, come to MSN so I can show Brett you're still around.

Yes, right. It's really bad.
First we visited a very small one in Burgenland. It is owned by an artist who also showed his paintings there.
Then we saw Schloss Esterhazy in Eisenstadt. Very pretty.
What's ACCA?
I'll come, but not today anymore, I'm really too tired to keep up with any more conversations than the ones here with you and Otus and Mala on skype. I'm just too tired.
