hehe, cool.

Quickly I must ask, what does "Y Asi" mean? Is it Õsterichi?

The eurovision semi final is on. I'm probably not voting in this one, but I can assure you Austria's entry was not among the worst. To be honest, I would rate them in the middle ground.

I've got no idea what that can mean. But I think they sing in, I don't know, but not German.smiley - erm Sorry.

I'm now watching the end of the Contest, and the presenter (?) said to no 23 (who ever that was):
Die singen heuer das Lied, das sonst Schweden immer singt.

.. I should have watched that, he's making really nasty comments.

the results are in. sadly some entries went through which were not as good as Austria. c'est la vie.

I can tell you it was worth watching, I'm sorry to contradict you.smiley - cheerup

I'm reminded of both the good and the bad about the contest. I will stop going on about it soon, hopefully, but there's an entry A174142 all about it.

I'll read it tomorrow, I'm too tired now, I just try to get one line of a fun entry about frogs fixed, then I'll go to bed.
Tomorrow there'll certainly be a discussion about it in the German Department.
You don't have to stop going on about it.

Hallo Neil!

I'm sorry that I didn't write anything in the last days, but I couldn't think of anything for my head was full with plan drawing. Yesterday I had to hand it in and: the teacher liked itsmiley - bubbly.
In four weeks I have to hand in the final plan, but I decided that I have a free afternoon today.smiley - smiley

I'll have to start learning for my exams soonsmiley - sadface and there is much homework staring at me, saying "If you don't get me done now, you'll have some serious problems in a few weeks."

Maybe now my posts start to get shorter until my exams are done. I'm really sorry.smiley - cheerup

What do you say to the result of the Song Conest? I didn't see much of it for I was still drawing at that time. Some of the things I saw was Moldaviasmiley - laugh, the end of the English song (can't say much to it), and the begin of the German song, which forced me to switch to a different channel. I just can't stand Gracia... she's one of these casting show people, one from this show where you knew from the beginning who whould win and that in fact everything is fake. Real monsters were born theresmiley - monster. *shiver*

see you soon

Gehabet euch wohl!

You have absolutely no need to apologise. I haven't been writing much either. I hope your plans are going really well, and I hope it doesn't get too tough as the exams get closer. But I suppose it will be tough, so good lucksmiley - goodluck to you. In fact you should follow your own advice rather than listen to me because I was rubbish at following advice about working.
Congratulations on your newly-submitted plan smiley - bubbly

I did see the Song Contest, but a few of the songs I didn't pay attention to because I was on the web. I would have voted for Hungary, Israel, Switzerland, Latvia, Croatia, Greece, Moldova, Norway (and Monaco & Austria if they had got through) however I am not a jury. I didn't think the winning song was the best, but it is one of the few songs I actually remember. The voting was weird as usual. I complained that Greece was getting so many votes from everywhere, then the UK gave them douze points so that kind of silenced me. Another thing, we always complain that countries vote for their neighbours, but the UK's first points came from Ireland. I seemed to like Hungary's entry but I can't remember any of the music now.

I was about to ask about Gracia, but I've read some of it online now. http://www.esctoday.com/news/read/4239 Gracia is fairly unpopular then? I sympathise with the German people in that case. In the UK we had a contest to find the national entrant. The model Jordan made a terrible bid for it, so we were just really relieved that Javine beat her, it would have been a nightmare otherwise. Curious though, if she had won it would still be a J. In fact maybe she was only entered to get more people to vote for Javine out of fear. Conspiracy theories...

Talk to you later

Lieber Neil!

Today I realised, that I have to do 5 homeworks which take different amounts of time nex to my exams. So I'll certainly have a tough time, but thanks.smiley - cheerup
I've got to finish my plan, finish drawing the cartoon film, make a monsterous physics homework, build a lightwaight construction, do some drawing homework on computer and write some stuff for city developement... that's even 6 things in fact.smiley - erm

You could hear much about Gracia on German TV, it was a big scandal. Her manager sent people to buy Gracia's CDs, so she rises in the charts and can go to the Song Contest. The Swiss singers had the same manager and he did the same thing for them.

I just saw the first commercial for the Hitchhiker film on TVsmiley - bubblysmiley - smiley. When will you go to see it? I'm really sorry that I couldn't come, but with all this work...smiley - sadface

lol, the eurovision scandal sounds quite pathetic if u ask me smiley - biggrin but funny.

Good luck with your work, I hope you get on well with it.

Of course I don't mind u didn't come over to see it. I haven't yet seen it, it was just a case of bad timing that it was out while my exams were on, and bad solicitation that my friends and I were not united in greeting it here.

I already know that the film is great, and I've seen some of the good bits in trailers and clips. It's still out here for another week or so. If nobody else really wants to see it now then maybe I might as well wait until it's out on DVD.

bless you

Neil

Hi Neil!

Yes, it was funny.smiley - biggrin

I coudn't wait to see the film on DVD and I want to see it in the cinema. That's still the best way to see a film I think, on a very big screen and with a sound you can never have at home.smiley - magic
I hope that I will see it with my uni friend, although I'd have the problem of finding a train home from Vienna at night.
Unfortunately I'll have the same prblem you had: the release date is the 16th of June and on the 20th I have to finally hand in my plan and I will have 2 exams in that weeksmiley - sadface.
But all that wont stop me from seeing the film, and if it stops my friend, then I'll see it alone or with my mum, she wants to see it anyhow.

Oh, and I've found an interesting page: SEx (Science Explained) it could become a very good project, they started it this week.
A4108330 I didn't post anything yet, I just read it.

I've got to do some drawing nowsmiley - run

I'm finding it hard to catch up with the German threads now! But I haven't posted here in ages so I thought I'd say hi. Hope your exams are going well (so I don't expect you to reply to everything) and I still haven't seen the film yet - it's out in the cinema until 12th June! So I ought to hurry.

Take care,

Neil

Hi Neil!smiley - smiley

My first exam will be this Friday, but I've still got loads of homework.

I'll see the film this Friday, we try to find a cinema where they show it in English. We don't care about our exams for this time, one has establish priorities.smiley - winkeyesmiley - laugh

The German treads are very busy now, we even were on the front page at the 5 busiest conversationssmiley - bubblysmiley - biggrin. Especially the game is very fast, so I've got at least 10 new posts to read when I go there.

What did you decide? Will you go to Germany? Or visit some other frinds in England?
