Hiya Gosho.
After reading a bit of your journal, it seems you finished the year much diferently than it began.
Did it make for a very strange holiday season or are all parties involved so amicable that all was cool?
If so I give you guys immense credit, for pulling it off.
Take care!

...things being cold is not so WONDERFUL!!!
Actually everything is warming up to the 50s here today, so that wooshing sound will be all this snow becoming water instantly! But we here in Michigan put all our hills far from civilization so no houses sliding away as in California (we also don't elect actors to govern our state)

Oh there'll be pancakes at GoshoTowers this evening I've got all the necessaries for the batter, plus sugar, lemons, and... a small but relatively expensive tin of Lyle's golden syrup

We had pancakes
Some containing smoked bacon and cheese, then more traditional lemon juice and sugar ones for pud.
Hi Gosho *waves* I have somehow bundled my way into your thread!

Oh is it pancake thing again?
I always miss out as I can't make the things properly, so I just don't bother.
I had curry instead tonight

Now that I'm stuck on the subject, pancakes do sound good! But I won't be home to cook tonight (which is probably okay since I don't have the ingredients, anyway). Maybe I'll make some for breakfast on Saturday...

The batter's been resting for half an hour and I'm about ready to fire up the electric griddle
Flossie's very fond of pancakes too

I haven't had pancakes for years. I don't know why, I always liked them.

We missed out as well - by the time we got home on Tuesday we were exhausted and mentally drained, so with the help of a bottle or two of wine we have chineese take out - well it was their new year

I made pancakes Saturday morning for the first time in years. They were yummy - I think I'll make them again next weekend
