Maolmuire
First, I suppose, the name. Maolmuire is a shortened version of Maolmhuireadh, an Irish name meaning 'servant of Mary'. There is a Scottish version too, but it means something else (can't remember off-hand).
As for things that get up my nose, (notice I skipped things I like- there are just too many of them) among them would be pseudo-science like astrology and global warming (where's Chicken Licken when you need her?). Also fashion. Good Lord, what ever are they thinking of? Dreadful television programs (which means almost all) also rank up there with the 'Psychic Mystic Hotline - your future is in the stars!!!'. Bleh.
