I'm reading selective backlog myself ... too much time away from the computer lately!
Doesn't mean I don't miss Al, though.

Aaw, thanks everyone! A pretty quiet birthday party, but considering I haven't posted anything for a while...

I don't care anything at all about about Groundhog Day, except for the corny corny movie with Bill Murray and Andie McDowell in it... that's pretty fun

Good movie that....... excepts for the almost complete lack of sex, violence, nudity and car chases.

He does come up with some rather inventive ways to knock himself off, such as allowing the groundhog to do the driving. But perhaps I was overstating it when I said it was "good".

*shakes head* For shame! Backing away in the hope of still being a bloke... I thought you were above all that ER! I, on the other hand, have no conception of being blokey at all in the first place, so I'm quite happy to say I like it Anyway, must fly...

Hey, c'mon people! Groundhog Day is a much hallowed American holiday. It's also my personal favorite since nothing is required of anyone on that day. Nothing special to do ... you just flop out of your hole and look for a shadow ... then go back to bed.
Hey! What's the big idea of ruining a perfectly lazy holiday with having to wish *you* a happy birthday, Chuck? I mean, here we were, fancy free, with nothing of note to concern ourselves with on that particular day, and *you* come along being born and expecting a party, gifts and booze, Chuck! What's up with that?!!

The truly saddest part about the lameness of Groundhog Day is the fact that everyone seems to have their own prognosticator. We've got the local groundhogs Malverne Mel and Holbrook Hal. *sigh*

Lame?!! Lame?!! LAME!!??? How dare you call the most wondrous of national holidays lame, Shea!?
I just don't understand some people. They're probably the same sort of people who actually *like* Valentine's Day. Sick. They're sick.
