(It will not de-mute, and we have to run sound through my Stereo Amp...

Gandy, (Ghandi?), I too have a Sony Bravia. After several mutes, it would not de-mute either. After fiddling with the set up, changing wires, etc it still wouldn't de-mute until (der) I turned the volume up. It de-muted straightaway. Try that, if you haven't already.

Went back to SONY a few days ago.......

The beggers have me over a barrel now.

He (manager) went to a site, and showed me that there are Trojan and Virus issues with the site Trish uses...

If I take it further, they are going to say that we are deliberately going to dangerous sites!!!!

did you get a recovery disc with it ? if so, maybe you can wipe the windows xp/7 off and reinstall it ?

you usually do with a tower pc, if windows becomes corrupted/virus etc and the like - it's so you can repair or reinstall it
