Trading Standards rang today..

Not much help. They say next step is to get independant report on useless VAIO. Independant reporter must be OKd between selves and SONY, and will cost us . LOTS!!!

Only other option is to eat humble pie, and take back for final investigation and repair, with 'suspect' software installed.How they dare to call it suspect when millions worldwide use it every day is beyond me!!!


Will compose further snotty letter, and go back.

The Saga is over

It is now MY fault

They say that the VAIO cannot handle the masses of data used in Gaming.

It will not re-launch as it recognises software still running

A desktop automatically recognises when a program is closed down

The laptop keeps it running

I, 'I'! should have told them what I wanted it for

It was up to ME to ask questions, not them

They could have sold me a laptop that could have run properly, but it would have been at double the price


I will just have to hang in there, and de-install/restart/install the software each time it crashes

I will now have to wait until my inheritance comes through- (letter from Solicitor hints at this) and spend £1K plus on a proper laptop


Then I can foist this lump of garbage off on another unsuspecting s*d, via 'Cash Convertors'
