I am a slow starter... =) I signed up for h2g2 a few months ago and am only now doing any posting. I suppose this is okay. Now that i have looked around a bit, and even posted a potential edited guide entry (A4249460), and received feedback, i have noticed a few things... like the long tag-lines that some of you old-timers have near your names. Is there any way to edit my login to have something similar, without creating a new account? I didn't see any such option in the 'my details' pages...

hmm... now that I write this, I am thinking I should go to the help pages and find my own answers! anyhow - thanks for the welcome, even though i was late in responding...

For what it's worth I figured out the nickname thing.. Now I just have to figure out what fits!

okay... I changed my 'tagline'... it represents my roots (hillbilly) as well as my current employment (computer geek)... The other option, it was pointed out to me, would be to represent it in some other form that only true "geeks" would get, such as:

47 65 65 6b 61 68 69 6c 62 69 6c 69 74 79

but that would make for a very long tagline... and one that didn't make a heck of a lot of sense to 99.9% of people!
