It's been 70 something Fahrenheit, most of the day. The air conditioner is running at the moment. Summer doesn't seem to want to let go, this year.

It has here smiley - laugh some time ago. I don't think our daytime temp. has been above 60 for a month or so. If I'm interpreting(hurriedly)what I've found online, between 56 & 58.

It would seem I may've been wrong, daytime temperatures in the low 60's; Very low, 62 or 63.

Tomorrow will be warmish. Friday, we are expecting a cold front and much nicer temperatures.

Green&Blacks, I know quite well, but hadn't heard of the My Therapy bars.

If you run across a 'vacation' bar, I want one. smiley - winkeye

Up earlier than usual, temp. just after 5:30 is an even 0C or 32F. A high of 8 forecast which is 46.4F.

Oh some smiley - choc I've managed to resist so far is an Austrian Zotter-min.70%-bar with a filling of 60%smiley - coffeecream(coffee powder is listed separately)& 2% whisky. They have some strange-certainly to the north american palate-and/or unique bars. Just skim through the 'hand-scooped' category.

...actually, I may just open that this weekend.

I think our cold front is expected tomorrow. Warmish today and very foggy this morning.

Those chocolates look interesting. Can't see Acai and smiley - choc. Acai is very bitter. Butler's does a very good smiley - chocsmiley - coffeesmiley - stiffdrink bar.

Our computers have been a pain at work this week. Almost done with fixing/replacing them.

From NOAA, weather.gov for my zipcode:

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 50. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming southeast between 5 and 10 mph.
Wednesday Night: Isolated showers after 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Thursday: Scattered showers, mainly before 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43. North wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 68.

Time to buy warm stuff to wear because once winter gets here it probably won't want to let go like the last couple of years. I realize our winter is nowhere near as extreme as what y'all have. It's that ours are getting more intense than what I remember and the supply of warm stuff here is not changing to match that. I suspect camo is going to be the extreme weather look because the hunting/fishing stores have the warmest stuff.

I meant to mention a restaurant that opened about a month ago. Creole themed.

Or at least it would seem to be Creole-themed. I haven't stopped in for my Po'boy, Gumbo or Crawfish Potato Salad yet.

That restaurant looks good. The menu is a little different than what I'm accustomed to. It's true, alligator does taste like chicken. But, it makes a better tasting sauce piquant. smiley - biggrin

Ah yes Brennan's! Many times have I heard that name...if I recall correctly, a couple of the smiley - chefs at area establishments spent time there training.

Were you prepared for the snow? I hope you didn't have to get out in that. When it snows there, do you have the massive power outages like we have here?

I forget it's mid November. I remember the date, it's the bit about being that close to Thanksgiving and Christmas that doesn't sink in. It's still warmish most of the day here. Might be an Indian Summer. Nope, not quite. Right time, right temps, no haze or smokiness so far. And, if it were, we'd probably credit the refineries instead of the weather. http://www.almanac.com/content/indian-summer-what-why-and-when

Yes I was prepared & forewarned. I can recall it snowing early Halloween morning a few years, so it was kind of expected. Fortunately I didn't have to go out. But more winter weather hit us Mon. & caught a few drivers unprepared.

Rain still catches drivers by surprise, here.

It has been very foggy the last three mornings. I left very early for work this morning so I wouldn't have to rush. The fog wasn't as thick. It didn't extend more than a fourth of my commute. I got to work very early. To avoid being upset about that, I left equally early. smiley - winkeye Expecting a cold front tomorrow.

The theory is that there was a sprinkling of rain, which of course turned to ice as the temp. dropped. Nothing worse than slippery ice underneath loose freahly fallen snow!
