You go, girl! Break a non-essential leg.

I won... a t-shirt... for coming last . But someone had to come last. And it was me.
And I had a nice in the pub with the marshalls afterwards.

You completed it, Amy, that's the most important things and I bet most of the others had been running years, not months.

I wasn't very far adrift. Well, I was from the winners, who appeared to lap me just about as soon as we'd started, but the rest of the field wasn't that much better than me.

Yay! I've broken the ten-minute mile barrier! I ran the mile in 9 minutes 50 seconds - a new ant landspeed record - and I couldn't have done it without the support of my lovely friends at h2g2. Thank you everyone!
Now, if you could just dig deep in your pockets...
You can pay sponsor money direct to Sport Relief on their website, to me via PayPal or in cash directly to me or to Ormondroyd.

I don't know. I was running alongside him and Harry Gratien (local newsreader) for a while.
That thodding hill up from the cricket ground got me again though. Perhaps he got away from me there.

Thanks, Caer .
I didn't beat Chris Moyles. He finished in just over 8 minutes and beat the other DJ he was in competition with - despite appearances. Tony Blair's time was 8:30 and Prince William's was something over 6 minutes.
Also running with me was Lorraine Chase from Emmerdale. She said hello to me, though I don't know why . Jimmy Saville was running too but I didn't see him. He lives in the park where the race took place.
It didn't rain during the race but we had a bit of a shower just as I was leaving the park and so I ran to the bus shelter.
I can't wait to find out how much I've raised . Did Ormy come back to civilisation last night or is he still in Nodnol?

By the end of the quiz Ormy had collected more than £59 and I asked Master B to make an announcement (well, I wanted to do it myself but he wouldn't hand over the mike!)

Did someone divest themselves of their loose change?
There's a bit of a discrepancy there so I'll wait and hear it from the Ormondroyd's mouth. Where's he got to anyway?
Thanks to everyone who contributed ... and there's still time to add to the total via PayPal

Where have I got to? EasyInternetCafe on Tottenham Court Road, since you ask! I stayed in London overnight after the hootoo do, and am heading back north tonight.
DoctorMO's version of the collection total was correct. However, I later decided that it was silly to leave it at such an odd amount, so I've chipped in the extra 51p to make it £55. And well done Amy!
