I'm not experiencing the obvious increase in fitness on a day-by-day basis like I did when I first started the training for the Race for Life but I'm certainly much fitter now than I was at, say, Easter.
The increased fitness hasn't changed my underlying medical condition but it does make it easier to cope with.

Glad to hear you're feeling better, Amy. You'd better get the Team Ant sponsorship forms off to me if I'm going to be the team representative at next weekend's London meet!

You know it's amazing how much smaller Leeds has got since I started running. Back in the days when I had the Antmobile, Headingley seemed very far away but today I missed the connecting bus when coming back from checking out the course for Wednesday's 5k and, rather than wait for a hour for the next bus, I set off running and walking and got home in under 40 minutes!
However, that means I've run about four and a half miles today, which is not what I'm supposed to do as I taper towards the race. So I'll miss out tomorrow's run and rest for two days.

Just bumping this up to the top of the convos lists so that I can see if 2legs is still subscribed. Otherwise I'll be sending him a separate message about the plans to collect sponsorship at the meet.
Sorry to bother everyone else. As you were.

She's very very close, but as of right now, I can still go faster than her Of course, having legs longer than she is tall helps quite a bit

I'll stick with Zeppo for this next race then and we'll see if Faith is ready for the August race.
It's a beautiful evening and I want to run but it is a rest day.

oh, I'm certain she'll be ready by then! I wouldn't be completely surprised if she took her first steps by her birthday, actually, though it's looking a bit less likely than it was a couple weeks ago (after all, crawling works pretty good)

I didn't do crawling apparently, I shuffled around on my bottom . My mother said I was terrifingly fast, I could always get to what ever was going to cause me harm before she could!

Wouldn't the low barometric pressure be in your favour?

Yes, I'll run better in the rain but the logistics don't work out. None of my friends can make it so there's no one to hold my raincoat . I'm going to get very wet and cold.

Hi Amy, congrats on doing the sport relief thingummy. I would be doing it this Saturday in Southampton (honest) but we're off on holiday on Friday. Shame. Actually, doing it with Chris Moyles is probably preferable to doing it with Scott Mills anyway.
Running in the rain is fun, don't worry *puts his best convincing smile on*

Peregrin!
I like training in the rain but hanging around in the park waiting for my race and then catching the bus back dripping wet won't be fun. I'll need my .
Where are you going on holiday?

I'm running in a 5k race at 7.30pm today. I'm part excited and part terrified.
