I took an IQ test at tickle dot com - and what a self confidence booster it was! Smileys inserted by me...
"Titania, your IQ score is 131. Your overall intelligence quotient is the result of a scientifically-tested formula based on how many questions you answered correctly. But it's only part of what we learned about you from your answers on the test. We also determined the way you process information.
The way you think about things makes you an Imaginative Mastermind. This means you are an extremely talented person, with a wide range of skills. There is little to nothing you can't do if you want to. You're very creative and you can express your ideas effectively through a variety of different means whether it's written or spoken words, numbers, or anything else. You also have a practical knowledge of how things work in the world — you've been paying attention and you pick things up easily.
How did we determine that your thinking style is that of an Imaginative Mastermind? When we examined your test results further we analyzed how you scored on 8 dimensions of intelligence: spatial, organizational, abstract reasoning, logical, mechanical, verbal, visual and numerical. The 3 dimensions you scored highest on combine to make you an Imaginative Mastermind. Only 6 out of 1,000 people have this rare combination of abilities. "
I wonder *which* three dimensions I scored highest on? They didn't say - at least not in the info you get for free. It's probably mentioned in the report you get if you pay...

I'm up there with you, and it is indeed a confidence boost!! Can't remember what type I was though... Visual something...
Have fun!

But I also wonder if they don't spread the compliments just a little bit to make you pay for even more of a confidence boost...
It nicely matched a test I made from Illustrerad Vetenskap though, so the actual value isn't far off, I hope!

Let's see if I can figure out which the top 3 was... I know I've scored highly in other tests in Abstract reasoning, so that's obviously one.
I'm always the one who ends up writing manuals at w*rk 'because you're so good at explaining' - now, which dimension would that be? Visual?
Maybe I'm Mechanical - again, at w*rk, I'm the one called for when the printers/faxes/copying machines refuse to cooperate. A little gentle persuasion is usually all that's needed.
I also drive my colleagues mad by standing right next to them when they try to show me the problem they just had with their PC. And just because I'm standing there, the PC works just fine and refuses to reproduce the error. I call it my 'magic presence'.

How would you like to stand behind /me/ when I have a Little Local Difficulty? I find it amazingly simple to make a complete hash of anything. Of course, I can always blame age, but where's the fun in that? Perhaps the Mind is on Higher Things? Or perhaps I was meant to be a Thinker?
That won't wash either. I'm off to try Titania's clevertest.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
