Titania (gone for lunch)

Swedish poet Karin Boye wrote these lines, which I'm too lazy to translate right now:

'På ställen där man sover blott en gång
blir sömnen trygg och drömmen full av sång'

And guess what? She was wrong! I didn't sleep more than 3-3½ hours at my mother's place either...smiley - sadface

And now that I'm home, I need to:

smiley - star Check train times for both me and my mother to go celebrating my niece's birthday next weekend at my brother's

smiley - star Book a Finland ferry trip to Helsinki in the middle of May

smiley - star Gather enough strength to start working full time as from tomorrow

smiley - star Get my mother new sofas (a promise I made when she told me she was thinking of getting a bank loan to replace her more than 30 year old sofas, but, unlike the bank, I won't charge any interest).

smiley - star Call my smiley - doctor and tell her that a) my sleeping problems remain the same and that b) I'd like to go on working only part time, not full time

smiley - star Anything else? Oh yes, skipped laundry again, and vacuuming, and washing up, and...

And I need to...

Do not w*rk full time.

Do not do laundry and vacuuming. Just shoot the most evil dustbunnies.
A little bit of washing up may be OK, but only a little.

Do call smiley - doctor.

(30 year old sofas? Pah! My in-laws have sofas from the 30's... the fabric was replaced in the 70's, but none of the springs. Sagging? Just a little...)

smiley - hug

smiley - towel
