You're the Why (Ian Dury) makes my eyes leak on occaision, but then, anything slightly sentimental right this minute would probably do much the same. I probably leak because Dury recorded the song for his missus on his last album, and he didn't usually *do soppy songs as a rule, and this one is particually poignent.

But I'm not tired.... I've gone to bed my normal time of 2 AM the last.... oh three nights I think, and on each ocasion still been awake come 6 or 7 or 8 AM and I need* to sleep tonight in order to do work in the morning (I'm atually setting my alarm for tomorrow ) though you are right, but I kno I won't sleep shoudl I go to bed now

I'm OK with the Daniel thing now, but living a two minute walk from the flat he died in does give me cause to remember him every morning, which is a good thing.

He had no idea how nice and well liked he was. He did know how intelligent he was though!

I suggested you went to bed - it doesn't matter that you don't sleep - technically - although having a ninkiling about you and mother being the necessity of invention and all that - you'd be resting that sad excuse you call a body Yeah yeah, pot- kettle- black and all that; I know.

Seriously; rest. There's a dirty bug very similar to what you describe going around - I tend to get the start of it every 5 or 6 days, and it's 'orrible, and a few hours non doing before it grabs you seems to work.

No harm remembering Roy; it's a good thing. If you believe in an afterlife, then your mate'll know he was a good bloke and well loved; if you don't, then *you know; it's all one anyway.
