I have no religious bias: I think all 'people of faith' are beneath contempt. My disdain is non demoninational. I'll let them fight it out amongst themselves but I don't think anything in this thread could be taken personally by anybody that didn't have a religious belief, and surely they will see this thread as proof of the ignorance of the infidel/philistine etc and they will draw strength from it.

I am fed up with being told that I have to respect people's religious beliefs. Sorry, but their beliefs are a bunch of hooey. Why on earth should I have to make allowances for people that should be locked up in a padded cell? Adults with imaginary friends? I thought that was known as insanity.
