Oh, and feel yourself officially invited to the pond and the surrounding environments: A4093463
Take part in whichever thread you like, the café would be a good start I think.
(You don't have to come if you don't want to of course)
...oh, and don't read the blog, that would be too much, it's enough if you read the first post of the thread.

Thanks for the invite ---the pond isn't that swamp that ALPHA overlooks is it? Are there crocodiles there?
Greetings from Elektra
Tavaron da Quirm - Arts Editor Posted Sep 22, 2005
Yes, Alpha was constructed above it, that's right. And: no we haven't see any crocodiles there yet, just frogs.

That is rather tame for my taste---you wouldn't happen to have much in the way of plunder there I suppose? Frogs are OK but icky to touch--trifle on the slimey side.

just come and see, the café is a nice place I think. It's built into an old lime tree and we have imps as cooks and many magical creatures come to have tea and cake.
The pond itself is a very special thing. It's connected to all water anywhere, so if you dive deep enough you reach a cave and from there you can travel to other planets... or the glass of water on your desk.

when you come from a family like ours , I would think that "magical creatures" would pall after a while. I'll check and see whether any particular gemstones are hyrdaphilic --if so p-space might make for interesting exploring.

Pall? You wouldn't say that if a dragon would have burnt a hole into *your* kitchen floor...
could you please explain 'gemstones are hyrdaphilic'? Even a consultation of my dictionary didn't help...

sorry unlike Dmitri I don't have impeccable spelling in English --it might be hydrophilic --meaning minerals most commonly found near water. You are an uncommanly polite young thing---wouldn't have expected that from your maternal side. Morgan and I have issues but Dmitri is against holding intergenerational feuds so I am glad to find you so agreeable. I can however see that the relationship between you and your maternal unit could be stressful. I think Morgan is as palateble as bitter medicine myself. But then surely the feeling is mutual.

ah! Thanks for explaining!
No idea how it's called, but maybe my dictionary doesn't even mention it
<>
but my 'maternal unit' is still my mum... although I have some propblems with her right now, so don't talk about her like that!

Niece, Hope you had a good night. Couldn't get in because Dmitri and I were locked out of hootoo. Glitches abound in the sorry dimension.

Hey niece, how is your transformation going? I hope you are a cat now--that half in half out must have been distressing. This sector is so messed up. I hope my 'cat' skills aren't too rusty, its been awhile since they have gotten much use but since several of my other transformations would upset Dmitri--as well as most other beings here, I'll have to do my cat thing and keep you company. Of course being older and more complicated ---my cat form is large too. I want to scare the socks off that EC.

yea, you have to get a more impressive cat, something really big and scary, I'm just at the beginning, you can't be as small and harmless as I am
yea, poor EC, he's usually the only cat here
