Sho - employed again! Posted Aug 24, 2003
December 17th. Not that I'm counting down the days or anything.
I watched FOTR on Sky last night, the man went to bed before it finished, so I managed to watch it in peace (he thinks I shouldn't be hiding from the Balrog since I've seen it umpteen times, stuff like that) then when it finished, I hadn't realised, but there was an even later showing, so I watched the last bit again. Bliss.
boy is so cute, have I ever mentioned how much I like him?
And sorry, not much good at daytime tv. Oh wait, isn't the Sentinel on Sci-fi at 1pm (have I mentioned that before?) and Discovery Kids (I kid you not) has some great shows.
Have fun in Yorkshire, wishing I was there instead of here (which is horrible right now... ho hum)

I had a good drool last night. It was an Andy Garcia night on one station here (Bayern 3 for Sho's benefit - not much help now it's over!). Unfortunately I turned off the first film after a short while because the German voice for the delectable Mr G was so awful. It was called "American Roulette" and was made in the late 80s and he played an exiled South American President. The voice was so grating I couldn't carry on watching. Later on that evening I found myself back on the same station and had missed a whole programme about him, then they showed another film in which he was an ex-Mafia killer. The film had such an unpleasant story line I switched that off, too in the end.
But I got a good look at him. And melted. And boy was my husband pleased at the results.

I have just been watching disc 2 of the LotR TTT dvd and Viggo Mortensen is still as divine as ever, without the straggly hair and unshaven chin. But Karl Urban who plays Éomer is very very nearly as
The backstage preview of the Return of the King is well worth watching too. It looks like being the best film.
How much longer before the new series of Stargate? I've been watching MacGuiver to compensate in spite of RDA's mullet

new Stargate starts (I think) on 29th September (yep, Monday nights now)
However, I believe that the week before, or sometime before, they are airing "The Lowdown" which is a behind the scenes thing.
And yes, Eomer is ...
as is Haldir
Legolas *faints*
Elrond (yep, Elrond... Mr. Doom)
Legolas
Aragorn
Hmmmmm... we need more smileys!
I'm eaten up with jealousy, I really really want to see TTT again, but I'm waiting for the extended version. Phoey.
I'm even Elijah Wood (as Frodo) these days.
Oh, btw, Caerwyn. Please may I borrow your name for a fic? I need a name for a female midwife...

As long as it has 2 'n's !
Why can't you have both dvds? There must be some good reason, research perhaps?

can't afford DVDs (or food or anything right now... don't ask)
ok, it will have 2 ns. And you'll get a mention. And it is a very VERY silly slashfic. But nothing about a PG rating. If that high.
Key: Complain about this post
