*from the backlog*
stupid spark tests!
They must be BLIND, DEAF and STUUUUPID!!!
LSF is MOST DEFFO a woman, a full-bloodied, drop-dead, thigh-rubbingly gorgeous female, blimey, I'm straight but if I was ever....
*so* disgusted with spark she refuses to take the test*
Oh, oh, oh, I saw a photo of Brad Pitt on the set of that new film, Troy??
boy oh boy has he been working out???
And Jennifer Aniston is "most bankable star" *sigh*
I'm not sure who I'd rather be, right now, our Jenn with her gorgeous hubby or Demi Moore with the pick of the toy-boy talent in Hollywoodand a gorgeous ex-hubby to drop the kids off to whilst I spent some quality time with the latest squeeze...

But I did do the character test, and apparently I'm Aragorn.
I still haven't seen that film
Oh, and Jim Carrey was on Richard and Judy's show today.
I've never drooled over him before, but I had serious stirrings.
Maybe it was his long hair, or that gorgeous smile, or those twinkling eyes and the way he had Judy blushing and touching him...
_and_ he's single!

You'd want to be Jen definitely - then you'd get to work with Matthew Perry...
(though Brad Pitt with long hair - I need convincing - going to have to see the film!)
been rewatching bits of BTVS and The West Wing - niiiiiiiiice men all round.

Didn't Brad Pitt have long hair in Legends of the Fall? He was very nice looking in that!
I rather enjoyed taking the Sparks test, even if it was not all that accurate for some folks here. (I did come out a woman, but sort of toward the middle) Some of the questions were very odd, like whether one would rather be deaf or blind. If I had to choose, I would pick deafness - I couldn't stand to lose my sight! I wish the test had given all the percentages of answers - it would be interesting to see what men vs women answered.

I didn't like Bard Pitt in Legends of the Fall, it was also one of the most boring films I ever saw. But Aidan Quinn was gorgeous.

Sho - employed again! Posted Jun 21, 2003
Have you seen the pictures of the bare-chested boy in that Troy film? Longish dark wavy hair (his natural look) and he's been working out.
Veeerreeee nice
Brad Pitt was gorgeous in Legend of the Fall, I loved the character too, really wild. Did I mention I've been watching The Sentinel on Sci-fi? Nice biceps in that. And a cute guy with long curly hair.
Sheer bliss

girls, I wasn't talking about Brad when I mentioned long hair.
"Oh, and Jim Carrey was on Richard and Judy's show today.

Maybe it was his long hair,"
Jim Carrey had long hair.
*faints*
I must admit, when I saw the pic of Brad, and his gorgeous toned body
I
dribbled and
ed so much I wasn't even looking anywhere near his neck line.
As the lady said:
Bliss.

Hi ladies!
GB I was sad to learn about your daughter's home being burgled... Was she able to claim off a household contents insurance policy?
Guess who bought herself a DVD of Lady Chatterley (staring the delectable Mr Bean)? Also guess who hasn't had time to watch and
because my kids won't lock themselves in their rooms...

Sho - employed again! Posted Jun 21, 2003
oh sooooo jealous of Lady Chatterly... and you
I've just found out that this Troy film has not only Brad Pitt and
boy double-plus-
but also the rather
Sean Bean.

Oh GB!
How did you know that I needed cheering up right now?
Bless you!!

Hey, I was thinking of you just now, whizzing round the garden watering stuff and then lighting candles on the balcony for Midsummer.
Any plans for this evening?

Gwennie!Nice to see you back in the fold
Yes, my daughter was insured, and they're replacing all their DVD's, so I should be getting my "About A Boy" back, sometime...
Sho...any more knicker-meltingly info on that film and I'm gonna turn into a pool of goo! When will it be available on video or DVD??I'll start stocking up on
now...
LSF, I didn't say that to cheer you up. If I'd have known you needed cheering up I'd have said something a lot nicer!
I hope you had a nice Solstice day, and I bet you're getting pre-wedding jitters I know *I* did, and I was a very naive 19 y.o.
So, have any of you heard the gossip that Bruce Willis is being lined up to play "J R Ewing" in the film version of Dallas??? {Maybe Larry Hagman could play "Jock"}
Bruce'll be great as JR.
The last time I saw Patrick Duffyhe looked just the same so maybe he will play Bobby again.*fingers crossed*
I wonder if they'll get Brad Pitt to play "Randy" again - Charlie Wade's first boyfriend?
Last night I watched "Shakespeare in Love" - I never realized Gwyneth Paltrow was that good! Or maybe it was the love scenes with Ralph Fiennes that got my eyes all steamed up
I really liked it when he pulled off the binding on her chest...but I really didn't understand how she managed to hide all her own hair under that small boy's wig what am I missing???
And Colin Firth played the baddie!
Hmmmmmmmm next weekend I'll be in London, anyone else going??
*waves to lurkers*

They are quite a large family. My parents met their's through the Army and would meet occasionally on the Officers' Mess social circuit.
24 tonight, unless I'm too deep in the latest Harry Potter to notice, but i doubt that somehow. Keifer Sutherland is definitely worth putting a book down for

Snipped from the imdb about Ralph, who is the oldest of 6 kids:
"Siblings are Martha, a director; Magnus, a musician; Sophie, a producer; and twins Joseph, an actor, and Jacob, a gamekeeper. Foster brother Michael (Mick) is an archaeologist. Cousin is British explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

I remember my mother saying that they were 'rather unconventional' and that their mother, Jennifer, always seemed to wear hippy clothes.
But then the Army in the 50s, 60s and 70s was exceedingly conventional and any family that didn't fit the expected norm was unconventional.

Sho - employed again! Posted Jun 22, 2003
Tell me about the Army attitude to "unconventional" families in the 60s and 70s... when we lived in Detmold in the 60s my mum was a lot of a hippy, and made the effort to learn German, shop in the German shops (instead of basing her life round the NAAFI) and we used to jump on the bus and go all over the place. We had a whale of a time, but she did feel a bit left out sometimes. I told her she should put shoes on sometimes like the other mums, and maybe give the kaftan a miss sometimes...
But then, that made us what we are, I suppose, and I'm glad she stuck it out.
It's the last part of State of Play tonight, my last change to letch cutie--pie Dan-the-journalist-who-is-young-enough-to-be-my-son
