Well, I havn't got the faintest idea for the reason behind last night's Andromeda. At first I thought it was to reprise wassisname (I've even forgotten the character most of the programme was centred on) as Tyr is leaving, but apparently that wasn't so.
There wasn't nearly enough of Dylan or Tyr either. So it was pretty much pants, really.

Sho - employed again! Posted Jun 24, 2003
I forgot about Andromeda, just saw the last 5 minutes. I love that first officer (whatever his name is) Steve Bacic is the actor. He's been in Stargate too.
Prophet, come on... what can a bunch of geriatric droolers do to you? That you won't enjoy...
*dangles *
You know you want to!!

ok, if I've done this right, there should be the beginnings of a Virtual Hen Party over at LSFs place... there's enough mess here already what with all the drooling and cake crumbs. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/F80109?thread=289293&post=3654859#p3654859

ok, I have been watching The Sentinel on Sci-Fi (I'M recording it for a friend, so I've been lookingin)
the idea is good, the actual show is poo and cliché but it is:
a) lovely to look at because one of the guys is lovely
b) a Lady Writer of Slash's Dream!

Helooooooo??
it's echoing something rotten in her.
OK, this is not stuff, but a friend pointed out the folly of big name companies opening branches in other countries and not paying careful attention to what they call themselves and their websites.
Unfortunately for me, I seem to have set my internet controls that I can't access this!!

Poor Sho; keeping up the ing all alone.
I'm afraid there's some doubt as to the veracity of that website, sad to say. It may in fact just be one big spoof. On the other hand, I don't think I've heard that conclusively stated or anything.

Sho - employed again! Posted Jun 27, 2003
I'm inclined to think it's a spoof... but it's a laugh to be had in these dark times when I'm in here all alone, ing all over the floor and boy
oh... while you're here, and no longer fetching your ... whatever it was in Guam...

Do you think so? I think he's lovely as Jack, but as MacGuyver... bleuch.
Horses for courses I suppose.
Hey! Stop him, our Mr.Prophet is making a and we need him for LSFs cake...
*trawls through backlog*
I'm sure there were another couple of guys here somewhere...

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Jun 29, 2003
I'e seen a couple of MacGuyver's on the Bravo channel as well, Caer
Great minds
It's so it's able.
RDA is seriously droolworthy though, even as MacGuyer. Even more so now he's got rid of the mullett.....
Sho, you'll be pleased to know the Droolers won the quiz last night.
The quiz was all based on edited entries too!!!
None of this "Which italic got Harry Potter lego for Christmas" milarky.
So well done Genie, Titania, Coely and Caer, and H and Genie's friend {not a researcher} Genie was so chuffed to win the t-shirt!it was a pleasure to see.
Bought myself a News of the World to read on the train home and there..and there...*pause for breath* on the holiday page {I'm glad I read that far.....} was Brad Pitt in full Troy get-up, with his long blond hair, and gorgeous sexy legs - filming on Malta....
*faints*

Gwennie Posted Jun 30, 2003
They're filming Troy in Malta?
*Wonders how long it would take to persuade hubby to part with a serious amount of dosh, pack her bags and grab a flight to Malta*
Excuse me pasting my journal entry here, but it saves time and please don't think that I'm seeking sympathy, etc as it is something that I have come to terms with over the weekend.
I won't be around on hootoo much for the next month or so as I'll be hopping about between Bournemouth and Durham.
Sadly my dad unexpectedly died from a massive heart attack last Thursday evening and his funeral will be on 8th July.
My daughter will be travelling down by train with me for the funeral, after which I will be returning her to Durham to catch up on shopping/domestic chores and then travel back to Bournemouth to keep my Mum company for a week.
The following week I'll have to return to Durham again for more housework/shopping and to collect the kids for their summer holiday at Grandma's house.
All being well I hope to be back and manacled to the kitchen sink and a daily routine during the first week of August. Now I think on it, both my kids will be home from school until September so I suppose there won't be much of a routine to speak of after all...Unless one discounts a tirade of childish pleas for outings to the cinema etc...

Gwennie and all your family
Just by the way, if any of you are in dire need of a letch-fest, turn NOW to BBC1 and wath the hunk Philippoussis vs. the able Agassi playing it's 1-1 and looks like being a tremendous match, plus of course the change of sweaty shirts at the end of each set...the Aussie has a fantastic tattoo on his shoulder....and tanned, big muscles....

Just thought I'd let you know that RL is dragging me to Paris for the day tomorrow, so I won't be around.
Most likely it will be a boring meeting in a room full of fat, bald, ugly old men... but at least I get to meet the guy with the gorgeous voice, and that magic French accent... he calls me about 4 times a day and says "'allo Sheona" (for that is my name) and makes what remains of my knicker elastic go *ping!*
