The man with the bouncing buttocks of course!
Haven't caught up with Stargate from last night yet, I see Jack's quip about the Simpsons is being used on Sky to trail the cartoon

I'm not sure they sell those; but they may give them away free with the aftershave I guess. Hmm; any guy's got to worry if they get Lacoste as a Christmas present then...
Sadly, I have no Sky and so am forced to more nefarious means to watch Stargate. So far I've just seen the first two episodes, and number three (Descent) is proving...elusive.

ah, fic... it has me gripped.
I'm now writing one about Heru'ur after all my friends met the actor (who stayed with them in the bar all night, until everyone else was coming down for breakfast) at a convention.
Lacoste man is lovely, as was the dad I was chatting up last night. Phwoar!

moi? hussy?
oh, ok then. (if the cap fits...)
so did you all have a good Haloween/Samhain?
We carved our first pumpkin, then when the gruesomes went to bed I watched some of my favourite Stargates (that's how sad I am)
Today is public holiday, I'm going to scan tv channels for "Lacoste Man"

Sho; over the last fortnight I've watched the entire first Season of Stargate (finished within the Serpent's Grasp about five minutes ago), plus six episodes of Season 6, the Season 4 finale, two episodes of Farscape, two Buffies, 6 Fireflies, two Angels, a Dead Zone and a Birds of Prey.
When I wasn't doing that, I was at work, writing SG-1 fan fiction. And, you know, very occasionally working.
I don't think you need to worry about being sad. I mean; you're managing to juggle a job and a family with active hussydom, which seems pretty good going
I watched Nightwalkers last night. Maybe not classic Halloween fare, but it filled the bill. As an added bonus, it knocked my SG-1/Call of Cthulhu crossover on the head - since that's pretty much what it was - so that's a few hours of my life I got back

So the entire first season... what about the season 2 opener? Fodder for the (we) slash writers for centuries (Spacemonkey indeed!)
Want to swap lives? Yours sounds so much more fulfilling than mine.
I have to cancel my lunchdate with the guy with nice hands and just go for coffee instead. My big spending customer demands my presence. Ho hum. Still, he flies in from UK and usually brings me a goodie bag (Jacobs cream crackers, branston pickle, Double Deckers and the Sunday Times)
Haven't seen Lacoste man for a while. Oh well, c'est la vie!
And no Angus Deyton to letch at during HIGNFY. Pah. Phoey.

Thanks for the offer of video, Sho - in a brown envelope I assume?
Am not sure I have your e-mail address for purposes of mailing snail mail address but will check out. Am not quite sure how I'm going to smuggle it in to the video though to watch it without cats and menfolk intruding!
We are all quite sad, really, but on the oother hand , the sharing of commmon things like TV programmes we have seen does create a bond which is as good as any other. It just seems superficial, but don't forget we are all very similar really.
Ramble ramble - have had one too many I think!

No Season 2. I only have the first Season on DVD so far; when the second box set comes out, I'll be all over it like ugly on an iguana though.
On t'other hand I'm _almost_ up on the US for Season 6, and nw feel confident of writing Jonas. Not so shy as Daniel, more energetic. Very young, really. Also very observant. It may take a little while to get into the swing of it, but I think it's doable.
And like slashers _need_ encouragement.

Sho, I can send you those goodies.
I wanted to send you a anyway to thank you for starting this thread. All us girls with our continuing pyjama party - what would I do without this thread to look forward to reading the backlogand joining in?
Cream crackers, Branston {do you prefer the plastic bottle that's smooth branston?} It's lovely Double deckers and the Sunday times? Easy peasy.
Email me your mailing addy & I'll send you a parcel

You letched Angus Deayton?
Good riddance I say.
I wish they'd make Roger Black his replacement, but with my luck it's be Anne Robinson.

Sho - employed again! Posted Nov 2, 2002
Ah, GB, no need
just having you here is enough for me!!
Roger Black? Tasty but not on HIGNFY.
Paul Merton did well last night though.
I think they should have the granny from the Kumars at no 49 or what ever it's called.

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Nov 3, 2002
I had no idea that Paul Merton was so talkative!
I hear that it's going to be Anne Robinson.
I think I would have preferred Stephen Fry.

Sho - employed again! Posted Nov 3, 2002
Don't despair, I think she's only on for a one-week guest spot.
Paul and Ian should be able to run rings round her. (Did I ever mention how cute I think Ian Hislop is?)
~drool~ thread
Gwennie Posted Nov 3, 2002
Snap Sho! Me too! I think Ian Hislop is adorable !!
I would love Stephen Fry to host Have I Got News for You!
Mind you if Ms Robinson did get the job, I'd like to see Ian and Paul pull her to threads and then have her quit the show because she couldn't handle them... (Perhaps I should rephrase that last remark? )
~drool~ thread
Sho - employed again! Posted Nov 3, 2002
yes, rephrase that... I can't cope with that image!!
I'd love them to rip her to shreds but not because I dislike her (I don't know her - that whole act she puts on is eclipsed by the way her mouth moves). I think it would be entertaining tv.
Then it would probably be axed. Sigh.
Ironing today. Accompanied by my videos of Stargate season 4.
Slurp!
