conquered many unremarkable and small scale hardships: exams, poverty, excess tutorial work.
mercifully unencumbered by prehensile feet.
writing a vitriol column in oxford university newspaper on a weekly basis next term. this makes me cool AND gives me something blinding to put on my cv.

Well, he may not be "uncle money" yet, but have faith. After he gets out of the University and gets a real job, (painting the queens toenails, or de-furring the guards fur hats at Buckingham Palace) then he'll be filthy rich and he'll buy us anything we want!
