Good Angel - recently become obsessed to the point of psychosis with the film 'Bio-Dome'

My friend Gill was at the first T In The Park when she was 8. And I'm now seventeen (my birthday last Saturday!) and i've never been either.

And I just got back from Lanzarote and found out I missed a King Adora gig in Edinburgh!!!

1's are A's, 2's are B's, roughly speaking. Although they tell you not to think about it like that.

Uncle Heavy [sic]

is that a level equivalent? how old are you?

Well, the 1's and 2's are the grading on Standard Grades, which are the equivalent to GCSEs. Most people do them at 15/16 but due to a freak of admission and birthdates, I did them at 14. Highers are a little less than A-levels, taken over one year, which I did last year, and they're gradeed in A's and B's and so on. CSYS in Sixth Year Studies, equivalent to first year University Studies, and Advanced Higher is a more schol-adapted version of the same thing. And I was 17 last Saturday smiley - biggrin.

GREAT finally someone who understands what I'm talking about when I say I'm doing Standard grades and Highers! smiley - hug You're the first I've found!

I'm 16 but I was 15 when I sat my exams because I was still on study leave when my birthday was so I had lots of time off (2weeks) which was brilliant!

And don't worry typing skills don't matter as long as people know what you're trying to say!

The world must be educated in the ways of the Scottish scholastic system!

I had three weeks of study leave and then three exams in four days, which was rather hellish, but hey, it didn't affect me too badly.
