Last night's final chase was probably the worst I've ever seen. Toe-curlingly excruciating. At least it was Paul and he wasn't smug and condescending as The Beast would have been.

3 in the final Chase going for £90K, wish I'd been on that team :P

GB, managed to watch most of the episodes while away. Love the programme so will wait patiently till we see you. Something to look forward to and I am sure they will call you soon, they can't do without such talent

Oh welcome back Webby! glad you had a good holiday, where did you go?

I am well aware that it is almost July and still not had a phone call. I have given up hope of hearing from them - if I do get a call between now and 31st July then it'll be a nice surprise

Went to Dorset with my son, our fifth year. Such a lovely county. Lovely weather, the roads are very well maintained, apart from the narrow lanes, no motorways, no litter anywhere, people lovely, food wonderful, we ate out every day but walked and climbed it off thankfully.

I do miss the wide open spaces, clean air and sight of an horizon and no artificial lighting.

Last night's episode of The Chase really went to the wire, so sorry for the contestants but I suppose it is the Beast's job to thwart them!

I hardly saw any in the last fortnight thanks to Wimbledon

I watched last night's (The Beast again) and he beat 2 contestants with half a minute to spare. However I did notice that some questions were about 2014 events, which made me think it'd been filmed this year. Sure enough when the credits rolled, it was filmed in 2015. I fear I have missed the boat

Have you sent them a polite enquiry?

On the form I filled out after I passed the audition, it said not to contact them as that would slow down the selection process

They are probably too scared of you to let you on the show

they're loss BUT! that list of contestants might have been planned a while for that particular series ? so don't give up hope

mam was once in the audience on countdown and they recorded the entire series within days, after every session, they had to sit elsewhere so it looked like a different audience, plus taking off coats or putting them on

i am sure your turn will come G. Hopefully it is just a matter of being patient.

Guess what? Got my date for recording on The Chase. My Dad's birthday - 3rd March.
