Has anyone else noticed that the price of petrol is at its lowest since 2009? And may be less than £1 a litre by January. My 
costs £10 a week. I used to spend less than that on petrol.
What really pees me off is that my energy supplier just gave me an annual review refund, which would have paid my car tax for a whole year.
Excuse me while I have a massive sulk and feel-sorry-for-myself moment.

Yes - prices have plummeted over the past week or so. So frustrating.
Do you have a car-sharing system where you live? My son doesn't own a car, mainly because he is moving abroad soon anyway, but also because parking is a nightmare where he lives. So when he needs to get somewhere by car, he just logs in and reserves himself a car for the time he needs it. I don't know exactly how it works, but I think he pays a monthly subscription.

My budget is that tight I can't afford things like monthly subscriptions 
I have the use of a car for the next two weeks, my daughter Laura has gone on holiday and I'm car-minding. I'm happy but dreading the countdown of days when I'll have to hand it back.
