Today I took some "Before" pictures of my old bathroom.
I'll upload them when my new bathroom has been fitted and polished off, then I'll take some "After" pics to compare.

...I might even take a "during" photo as well, for the amusement factor!
I'm hoping the bathroom fitter is going to supply one of those Porta-loo-type things, otherwise my next-door neighbours are going to get to know me a whole lot better over the coming week.
Oh well, I can now tell myself "this time next week it'll all be over..."

Yes, I rarely invoke the powers, I prefer to save them for extra-special occasions when they're REALLY warranted

I'm in the same boat so I decided to buy a new bathroom a part at a time.
So far I have a nice coloured ceramic knob for the light pull.

i did that to my kitchen once: the knobs on all the cupboards were ugly green glass ones. i replaced them with elegant wooden ones
and nobody ever noticed

My father's solution to that (he was a keen DIYer) was to ask everyone who came to the house "Have you seen my new cupboard?"etc It became a passed down family joke.

Andrew made his own packed lunch this morning and cleared off to the pick-up point ten minutes early. That's a first, on both counts. I guess he didn't want to hang around in case the builders arrived.
