I've just found out that the girl who used to babysit my 3 older kids after I separated from their Dad, has died aged 33.

Sam's funeral is tomorrow, at 3.40pm.
Andre has told me he will wait outside and be good while I go say goodbye to my friend.

The funeral was harrowing
One should not outlive one's children.
There was standing room only at the Crem.
Apparently Sam had an inoperable brain tumour - which she didn't know. She was due to have a scan the day after she died. I remember her suffering from bad migraines when she was 15 - maybe she'd had it for all those years.
The vicar at the Crem said Sam's liver had been donated to help someone else, and the family had requested that all her friends carry a donor card in Sam's memory.

Wasn't it just.
I already have my donor card, and I'e told my older kids that if anything is useful after I'm gone, they can take it with my blessing.
