This is what I like to see - you put out a notice saying that the system will be down and there's more users online now than there have been all week

Oh, great! Here I went away at 11 o'clock cause they said they'd shut the server down at that time, and now I hear that they kept it going even after that. That sucks!
Oh well, I'm still here, nothing very interesting happened during these three hours to change my status in this forum (although it would have been extremely cool if it had, since I'm at work.) And new smileyfaces and all... Nice..

Ermm - I see that they've added links so that you can unsubscribe from conversations. If I click on the one for this forum will the PTB fix me up with free sex?

Well, I know how to make the Angel smiley, but that Kiss one is cool, FC!
LiS, what do you ~mean~ nothing interesting happened this morning?
I remember us having a nice snuggle!
I ~also~ went away at 11am, for three hours!
Mind you, my wrist appreciated the rest.
Cue for a joke, Shellers.
Nice to see you back to your old self!

I never said nothing interesting happened yesterday morning, GB.. I just said that nothing interesting happened after 11 o'clock when they were supposed to shut down the server for the upgrade.. The snuggling bit was very nice...
The H2G2 down time wasn't.
Oh, and checking in, BTW..

Morning all,
Shellers checking in.
I tried the 'unsubscribe' feature last night. I clicked the link, removed my clothes and sat back to wait for the PTB to send someone round to unsubscribe me. Anyway, I think I've finally persuaded the office cleaning lady not to complain.

Sorry to hear that the Unsubscribe option didn't work, Shellers. I guess well have to try to figure something else out..
Am I the only one that's had terrible problems with H2G2 today? I keep getting a lot of timeouts and stes that doesn't load properly and stuff.

Erm - was that an invitation LIS?
How about forming an escape committee for those wanting to get out of here - like in the WWII films?
"I say chaps, I caught Ginger and Alfie attempting to get over the wire last night"
I had loads of problems yesterday but they seem to have cleared today.

Don't take this the wrong way, Shellers, but you don't seem to be my type.
Escape committe sounds intriguing, though. Any plans as of yet? <--- Okay, I'm sorry, that was the most villanous I could find.

You know us too well to imagine that, surely?
My presence, of course and as usual, should be taken for granted.
