It never ceases to amaze me how many married couples do not have sex together. During my 11 year marriage, sex was not our problem. Maybe someone can enlighten me here?

Having never been married and unless the change the laws or I swing to the other end of bi which after my recent history would seem a waste of emmotional strain I have no idea what married life feels like. Although considering I was in a two year relationship until recently which has sex as one of the first and last items on the agenda, I can say it was good and as frequent as it could be for the whole length of time. smiley - smiley

Right - something mildly amusing; my boyfriend recently went on a four-week trip to Borneo, where apparently every toilet they encountered was liberally coated with industrial bleach. Suffice to say they all returned with a bizarre and painful affliction to the foreskin, causing exquisite pain on intercourse...

Somehow it just seemed like justice. smiley - winkeye

Painful to who? smiley - sadface

It makes me wonder what he was up to - my loo is often coated in bleach etc but I'm not in the habit of rubbing my tackle in it! smiley - smiley

God only knows... and painful to him, for the record. I think I've had my fair share of pain.

It's the nature of the squat toilet though it is hard for us westerners to squat there and not dip. smiley - sadface

Hahahaha... I'm half-Chinese, my mother's from Malaysia and so I experienced the trauma of the squat toilet as a small child in kindergarten in Penang; now that was scary...

The ones I experienced in Kiev were so scary I think I was constipated for the whole 2 weeks I was there

Oh well, in for a penny...

This is probably a daft question, but not having enjoyed the delights of an eastern squat toilet, I think I can understand DD's fear of dangling in the bleach (especially under the weight of 20 Swatches), but what exactly is the female fear?

I was a small child, remember? The prospect of falling into a comparitively large hole on the ground isn't particularly attractive to a four year old, of either sex.

Just what I needed, a good laugh.
Bless you, Shellers.
So, as I am a squat-toilet-virgin too, it's a hole in the ground?
Where did they put the bleach?

They have them in France quite a lot as well - basically they're a hole in the ground which you squat over. Some of the modern(ish) ones even have proper pads for your feet.

Apparently, squatting is supposed to be the most natural position for going to the loo - but I have this awful fear that this is going to open a whole new can (of worms).

Well until my Thomas Crapper invented invented the S bend sqating or sitting over cesspits was all we had for number 2s so that's why it was natural.

I meant that people are supposed to suffer a lot less from problems like constipation if they squat.

How does a forum with the heading "sexual matters" come to be about squat toilets? smiley - sadface
