Nuge there are different types of dyslexia, and to different extents

I'm not hot under the collar in the slightest. I just get irritated. It has to be one of the most common errors on the internet.

perhaps its just that... some people esspesually some dyslexic people might infact type nudge because its a word...
unlike nuge...

You shouldn't take it so hard. Its an unconscious tendency of the human brain to fill in percieved missing letters. And if someone isn't as familiar with you they'd be more inclined to the mispelling.

Its just "Nugent" without the "nt". My actual name is Toby Nugent. Right, that's that on teh interwebs. Now to go and release my address to paedophiles.

Ahem. Now that's over with, on the Nuge issue, everyone manages to spell my name right (except for an incident on the film post that I'd rather not go into). And Nuge IS a word, and although it has fallen out of use it is still used as a stem for several other words... which fell out of use shortly afterwords, but are still in some really old dictionaries like the one I have next to my computer. To begin: *coughs*
Nugacious: a, (Now rare) 1. Trifling, trivial, pedantic and of no moment.
and several others including Nugacity and Nugatory.

Actually, there's a fairly famous word, the noun "Nugentism" after my great-uncle. It means the practice of spending all your money on drink, women and gambling in one night. True story.
