~~~CAKE IS BETTER FOR NUGE THAN TORTURE. YOU SHALL GIVE HIM CAKE. AND MAYBE A CUP OF TEA SO HIS MOUTH DOESN'T GET TOO DRY. AND A BISCUIT.~~~
Nuge please understand that people dont mean it,
its just so easy to type nudge by accident
plus with the amount of dyslexic reserchers on this site i think you could give people a little bit of leeway.
esspessually when they really dont mean offence,
please try not to have another outbrake like that
I'm not hot under the collar in the slightest. I just get irritated. It has to be one of the most common errors on the internet.
perhaps its just that... some people esspesually some dyslexic people might infact type nudge because its a word...
unlike nuge...
i suppose its like your mind playing tricks on you
I'll try not to call you nudge in the future nuge its... just so easy
You shouldn't take it so hard. Its an unconscious tendency of the human brain to fill in percieved missing letters. And if someone isn't as familiar with you they'd be more inclined to the mispelling.
Its just "Nugent" without the "nt". My actual name is Toby Nugent. Right, that's that on teh interwebs. Now to go and release my address to paedophiles.
*Suddenly becomes distracted from very important job he has been set of counting all the atoms in the room* Double pay?!? YAY! Wait... what's two times nothing... Who cares? Chocolate cake!
I are confusidid. Maybe we should remove Angussporran from the harpoon we have been flinging him around on.
* Realises he has missed the last page when reading through. Removes harpoon which has unfortunately pierced pet matress. Angry at Angussporran for hurting mattress.*
Ahem. Now that's over with, on the Nuge issue, everyone manages to spell my name right (except for an incident on the film post that I'd rather not go into). And Nuge IS a word, and although it has fallen out of use it is still used as a stem for several other words... which fell out of use shortly afterwords, but are still in some really old dictionaries like the one I have next to my computer. To begin: *coughs*
Nugacious: a, (Now rare) 1. Trifling, trivial, pedantic and of no moment.
and several others including Nugacity and Nugatory.
All derived from the latin nugax, as any fule kno.
Yeah. We were about to torture Angussporran, weren't we?
Actually, there's a fairly famous word, the noun "Nugentism" after my great-uncle. It means the practice of spending all your money on drink, women and gambling in one night. True story.
NO We were about to torture nuge for attacking senior guild personnel and it is a good idea.
