I am devastated!
Got a grape vine and a hops plant as a farewell gift from a dear cow*rker, but due to the long and cold spring and the sudden impact of drought and very hot weather both have perished
Next year I'll buy new ones, plant them in an orderly fashion and tell nobody about it

I had to find my own way through Tallinn
like Chris Columbus .. he didn't need a guide either .. and only ended up some 20.000 km from where he wanted to be

I'm not sure if he'd have liked it better.
I found myself wondering today, if there actually are real places on this planet, where the sand is white, sea is blue and palm trees grow. It doesn't sound right.

I believe Onassis had an island with these qualities. Mind you, he had the sand shipped in from somewhere else. The original stuff was too coarse for his sensitive skin (and that of Winston Churchill, Maria Callas and Jackie Kennedy)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
