Scuse me butting in, but paulh (from Boston, all the way from America) has just mentioned that he is touring the Baltic States with his choir. I suggested he contact you, Hati. Have been following with interest, but no chance of me getting away again. Sweden is tempting, though.
As for your Oyster card, Pierce, please let me know if you manage to reactivate it. Mine hasn't been used since the last time I went to a London meet, some 5 years ago. I have probably lost the money on it by now, but I wondered if it may still be valid.

my oyster cards just w*rked .. never any problem
in fact both my oyster cards worked .. one after not being used for .. aaaahhhh... quite some time

I think there was another thread somewhere about paulh's trip. I even had some suggestions. But by now I have totally forgotten, of course, where was the convo and when he'll be in the neighbourhood.
As for Sweden, it is very tempting indeed. Very, very tempting.
