our eejit neighbours all let off fireworks - and I was when they put some sparkly things in the road and then watched a group of teenagers walk past without warning them that it could get dangerous.

The gruesomes enjoyed the show - but for me it felt like something out of world war one with all the bangs and smoke.

I kinda liked the show. From a safe distance.

to my big disappointment my mailbox survived

and the first bill of the year was in it today
