I think 1/3 of our Aug. was actual summer weather & the other 2/3 was much more like either late Sep., Oct. or very early Nov.

We had this 30+C weather in early August. End August went downhill quite fast. November indeed.

Yes Hati, east of us the weather was 38 to 40 C. We had maybe 9 days where the temp. reached 31(possibly 32). And even the 8th or 9th of Aug. was quite cool-very unlike Aug. usually is!

By now I'd rather be a polar bear. Well, an unsedated one. Or just a bear - to hibernate.

Here it's quite nice now, much more like Aug. should have been...someone is reading the calendar all wrong!

It's nice here but cold. In nights the temperature drops close to the freezing point. I should probably heat the house...

The temp. now(very late night)is about 5.8 C, they predict 18 for Sun. & 23 for Mon.

Our forecast has numbers like 0C and 17C in it.

Hmm 17 I can live with...0 I canshiver with!

17 tends to happen at the seaside. Here it get's to 14-15C or so.

I must bring in some firewood.

Yes, good idea & I suppose I must get to bed. Probably 'see' you Sun. evening my time...Mon. morning your time.

'ning Hati! Yes I did sleep well . Now I've made my & the day is starting quietly(well, starting for me at least). Very sunny, but only 6.1 C yet.

11C here and the day is almost over. A stressful one it has been.

Ah 'ning Hapi! How have you been?

For some off reason my household decided to fall into pieces. The stove lost few bricks, the washing machine's waste water pipe tried to escape, dinner got burnt while I was messing with the flood and smaller things were all in a wrong place. Oh, and my favourite kitchen knife is broken.
