I think 1/3 of our Aug. was actual summer weather & the other 2/3 was much more like either late Sep., Oct. or very early Nov.

Yes Hati, east of us the weather was 38 to 40 C. We had maybe 9 days where the temp. reached 31(possibly 32). And even the 8th or 9th of Aug. was quite cool-very unlike Aug. usually is!

'ning Hati! Yes I did sleep well . Now I've made my & the day is starting quietly(well, starting for me at least). Very sunny, but only 6.1 C yet.

For some off reason my household decided to fall into pieces. The stove lost few bricks, the washing machine's waste water pipe tried to escape, dinner got burnt while I was messing with the flood and smaller things were all in a wrong place. Oh, and my favourite kitchen knife is broken.
