And which box would that be? I don't have a box! Where is this box! I wanna box!
I've got my page in alabaster and I think you only get the smiley box in brunel! Alabaster is a bit more subtle for the office! So i do type all my smileys.
Yay! That makes it a proper day off for me if other people have to work on a day that i dont! !
(and whats greenlaning?)

Ooooh, yeah, you don't get it in Alabaster, that's carp that is - you get one in Brunel, so its easy for me to send you smileys!!
These are the ones I've got in my box:
Don't worry, I wont be working for long, no more than an hour if I can help it!!
Greenlaning is great fun. Its about driving in the country on BOATS and RUPPS. (Bridleways Open to All Traffic and Roads Used as Public Paths) It's perfectly legal, but the Ramblers hate it, so a lot of the councils are trying to get the tracks de-classified and ban the 4X4's so we drive them to prove there is a demand. A lot of the farmers block them, cos they go across their land, but it's illegal for them to do it. It's silly really, cos these tracks have been used by traffic for hundreds of years. Many are old Roman roads, so they they were designed for the job, but I guess there will always be people who'll moan.
We are very considerate, we keep off bridleways and footpaths we shouldn't use, we update our maps before we go in case a road has been de-classified, we don't drive them if they will get damaged and we always stop to let the walkers come past. Don't know what more we can do really...
Right I've had my moan....

Ahhhh, you're one of those really irritating people who drive their 4x4s all over the lovely little woodland paths that i like to wander along with my map and rucksack churning up the fields and scaring the . Bad people!
We don't call that greenlaning, we call it wanton trespass!
Har de har! We used to get into a lot of trouble doing that on trail bikes when i was younger! Many a time we've had the police called by an irate farmer and have had to fend off a few alsatians! We were younger and not as considerate as you, we used to take the bikes straight through the middle of the fields like irresponsible youngsters! Damn fine fun though, to rip up right behind the Ramblers and scare the living daylights out of them!
Now being a responsible grown up, I wouldn't dream of it!

You Hooligan!!!
Hang on, a responsible grown up? I thought you were only 17!! Hmmmm, have you been fibbing and lying about your age to me?

Ok, I'm rumbled, I'm really 19!
One Bonfire Night when i was bout 7, we decided to have a huge bonfire in the field next to our house. We spent ages collecting wood and stuff to burn and had it all piled up in the field. We had always been allowed to by the farmer but there was a new owner and we didn't ask for permission!
He was obviously a bit thick for not noticing the 30 foot pyre we had built in his field for 3 weeks but the moment we lit it, all hell broke loose! There were fire engines and police and crowds of people!
I scarpered and denied all knowledge! I was one of the younger ones and is wasn't my idea!

Lol, my sis used to work at the local farm shop and she had a tied cottage on the farm. We were allowed to use one of the farms fields to build a huge bonfire next to her cottage and then invited loads of people round for a massive party.
The fire was huge, and there must have been about 60 people. The plods thought we were having an illegal party and they drove across the field in their silly little plod car to arrest us. They were so sick when they found out it was all above board.
But the best bit, was as soon as they tried to drive off they got stuck!! We were all so pished, we just refused to help and they had to call another area car to come and pick them up. The next day, the fire service were there and had to winch the plod car out of the field. Never forgot that!!!

Right then hun, I've got to be away. I might pop in when I get back, so I may see you later if you are about. If not, have a lovely day tomorrow and I'll speak to you soon - but you'll never know when...

Hello You
Had a lovely weekend, but did not get nearly enough sleep!
And i have the remnants of a slight hangover from too much last night, even though I managed to spill most of it all over my cream rug!!!!

However did you manage to do that? You must have had your mind on other things - it's not like you to kick wine bottles over!!

Unfortunately, it is very like me to kick over bottles!
Least the bottles are normally empty but this was a glassfull! Interesting pattern on the rug tho

Dont you have to pour white wine on to red or summat to get rid of it? Either that or you need a tub of Cillit Bang!

Changing the subject slightly, have you got neat handwriting? I've been jotting various bits and bobs down over the course of the day and I've just realised how bad my writing is. I think its got progressively worse over the years. It's not my age, I dont think, I think I've just got really lazy with it. I was reading some stuff I wrote this morning and I can't make out what I've put!!
That's terrible.....

I have either a really scrawly quick handwriting which i use for scribbling to myself, but when writing letters and cards and stuff, I have really tidy, old fashioned joined up writing. Looks like proper script! The benefits of a convent education!

Yikes, that makes me feel even more embarassed by my scruffy squiggles. I really must try a bit harder. It's saying something when you cant read your own writing.
Still I spose it's what you write rather than how you write thats important...

Yeah, but if you can't remember what you wrote and you can't read it either, then you're a bit stumped, aren't you?

I've been sorting out carp that other people should have done months ago! Its all gone pandemonium here!
Had lots of meetings this morning with hoteliers then had to go inspect a new hotel thats been built. They haven't built a road to it though so i had to go mountaineering over scrubland to go look at it! Only today i was wearing girl shoes and they hurt!
*makes note to put sannies in the car for further visits*
I did think of you when I saw them dismantling the crane beside it!
