Surgery on Monday!!!!!
Posted Oct 21, 2005
I am starting to get very scared about my surgery on Monday
I would like everything to be over already, and starting on the road to recovery.
I've got to tell you about having a personal ad put on the msn personals site by my ex-boss/landlord when I moved
I found a personal profile on msn that I didn't even know existed. I found out by someone replying to it.
Anyway, I figured it was Steve that did it (real name intended), and chatted this guy up for a couple of weeks to see if it really was him that was responsible. The name given seemed very familiar to me, like I had heard it somewhere before.
When I asked this guy what he did for a living, he said he worked in an office. Just a tiny statement, nothing more detailed. (Maybe tiny says it all, I don't know.) Anyway, a little time went by and I asked him what he did in the office, like whether he took out the garbage, or if he was a CEO, or summat. He than said he was a Union Rep. So, I left it alone for a while again, and then asked him this past sunday if he, by any chance, was a Union Rep for Canada Post.
Now, by this time, this 'gentleman' had written every day. I can't reply to anything on hotmail from home, so I had given him my yahoo address, just so I could continue to dig for information, as my instinctual radar was flashing neon green. BUT, since asking that question on sunday, I haven't heard a word from Mr. Personal Ad
Do you think I have it right, and this is actually Steve pretending to be someone else? (Steve is also away in British Columbia on a holiday, playing golf and skiing, in one of the more expensive resorts there until tomorrow or Sunday) Or, could it be a real rep for Canada Post trying to get info about the grievance I filed for unpaid wages for work done?
Since this has happened, I have decided to file with the Federal Human Rights Comission against this piece of work I used to call boss. If he is so underhanded as to put a personal ad on the internet in my name (My kids said it sounded like things I would say, and that if they didn't know better, they would have thought it was me), what else could he potentially do?
Has anyone still got the bunny pictures of me? If you do, could you please e-mail them to me on my yahoo? I lost most of my pictures and personal papers on that farm, because the landlord wouldn't fix the rodent problem
Well, I guess I should go for now. I should spend some time with my , I suppose.
Where is Roadkill, clzoomer, and other wonderful people? Are they still around?

Moving Day
Posted Oct 16, 2005
Yesterday was moving day
It went quite well as far as I am concerned. The movers were three young guys that worked well together, and were very polite. They did a great job, and didn't break anything.
The one thing that got to me was that my boys spent the better part of the day on the internet learning blonde jokes
It feels so good to be able to in a bed, rather than on a hard floor.
In the evening I took mu Mum to a Symphony concert for her 69th birthday. It was a great program featuring Mozart, Wagner, and a young (18 years old) Soprano that sang as well as some of the seasoned Sopranos I've heard. My kid's Dad is the Concertmaster here, so he always has complimentary tickets for the Main Series concerts. I'm looking forward to attending as many as I can. Maybe there will be a better class of men to meet?!
Now it's just a question of getting through all of the boxes and crates and bags of things, so we will be able to move around in here. We've got to do a great deal in the next week, before my surgery on the 24th, so I can at least not fall all over everything when I get home. (Not that I'll be doing any walking, mind, but I'll be able to move around on my bum)
Tomorrow I go to the hospital for my pre-op blood tests and x-rays. I think they're doing a cardiogram as well. The Surgeon has decided that since I was born with only one kidney, and because I am having bone taken from my hip to be used for grafting in my foot, that they will probably keep me in the hospital for a few days instead of only doing the thing as day surgery like they did last time. I also have to go to the Chiropractor on monday to have him readjust the things I put out of place during moving day
Then on tuesday I must go to the Dentist to have the last of the w*rk done on my teeth before the surgery. I HATE going to the Dentist! I would almost rather break every bone in my body before going to the Dentist!
Then on wednesday I think I have a little break, so I'll be able to get a little bit done around here.
Thursday will be a big day< as it is payday> i"ll have to get my manicure to have the tiger stripes taken off my nails> he surgery won"t go ahead if the Anesthetist can't see the color of my nail bed. Then I have to go to the Chiropractor again. He wants to make sure I'm well adjusted for optimim healing (It'll take a MIRACLE to make me 'well adjusted'). I am also taking my Mum and my Daughter Tabby and her son to lunch that day. Then I have to take my grocery shopping that evening, and to get them something they can wear for Halloween. They are taking my grandson Trick-or-Treating. Tabby offered to let them do this, as I won't be in any shape to take them around. So, Tabby and her boydriend will come pick up the boys and they will go round in her neighborhood with Darrion. He's 16 months old now, so he 'understands' a lot more. There is a large picture of Frankenstein on their wall at home, and Darrion points to it and growls, and then walks sort of like a zombie to indicate who it is in the picture. Then he like crazy, thinking he's made a big joke.
Then sometime on the wekend I'm going back to the community I just came from to pick up some more of the produce I grew in my garden. There is no point letting it go to waste. There is probably about 200 pounds of potatoes to be dug up yet, and some carrots and beets as well.
And during the wek we'll be going through as much of the packed stuff as possible to be able to give things away to anyone who might need something I don't need anymore. DOWNSIZING is supposed to be theraputic, right
I really felt bad that I lost all of the kids' school stuff, along with costumes, and hundreds of books, at the farm (the comma lady strikes again). The landlord let the wild rats and get into the storage shed we had there Everything was ruined It's just good that I managed to salvage pictures.
Well, I had better get on with the day. Time stands still for no one!
to all.

Since I'm only allowed another 14 minutes here, could you please contact me, Animal
I'm going home to rest my foot, as I have been on it for some time, and it's very painful I'm just glad mu surgery is in 13 days. Then it's on the road to recovery again.....
I also feel from the flourescent lights in this building.
I've not only got to find me a cowboy, but a computer as well
Maybe a cowboy WITH a computer will show up?!

Hope and prey (ha ha)

I spoke with the Union Rep last night in regard to the greivance against my boss. It turns out I'm owed 2000 hours pay at $15.09 per hour.
~
I just hope it goes through!
My luck it won't, for some dumb reason

Only two minutes till library closes!
Still alive.
Been fired and evicted.
Long story.
Miss everyone!
Legal battles are tiring.
Got a car yesterday. Nice.
I'll be like Arnold Schwartzennegger!
